A great property for unforgettable holidays in the Alps: the modern 4.5-room penthouse flat on two floors and 113 m2 with two south-facing balconies offers unbeatable views over Grindelwald and the surrounding mountains. The Swedish stove creates a cosy atmosphere in the living/dining room with open-plan kitchen. In the flat with two bedrooms with double beds, one bedroom with bunk beds, a bathroom with bathtub and WC and a bathroom with shower and WC, there is an additional room with a cosy leather sofa that can be used as a dressing and reading room or as a children's room.
The house is within walking distance of the Bodmi children's ski school, the bus stop is 200m away and the village centre is 2.5km away.
WiFi and a parking space in the garage are included in the rent.
Pets and smoking are not allowed in the house.

The hospitable glacier village of Grindelwald is nestled in a varied, unspoilt Alpine landscape. The imposing, world-famous and ice-crowned mountain backdrop with the Wetterhorn, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau is the stage set for Grindelwald. In summer, there are over 500 kilometres of marked walking, hiking and mountain trails in the region. Along the way, cosy mountain restaurants with a varied culinary offer invite you to enjoy, relax and linger. Many other summer activities are offered in the region, such as: 160 kilometres of signposted mountain bike routes, paragliding, bungee jumping in the glacier gorge, scooter bike route, summer toboggan run, First cliff walk and much more. In winter, 45 cable cars and ski lifts in the Jungfrau region invite you to enjoy the snow. The three sub-regions of Grindelwald-First, Kleine Scheidegg - Männlichen and Mürren - Schilthorn provide access to over 200 kilometres of pistes with fast and leisurely descents. With 100 kilometres of winter hiking trails, non-skiers also get their money's worth. The region is also a true sledging and tobogganing paradise. A toboggan run leads from the Faulhorn to Grindelwald. At over 15 kilometres, this is the longest toboggan run in the Alps. Many other snow sports activities are on offer in the Jungfrau Region, such as snowshoe tours, cross-country skiing and ice sports.

The apartment was as advertised and views were better than expected!
Very comfortable and plenty of room for 4!
Laundry is in a separate room but easily accessible and we never encountered anyone else using. Highly recommend! The rental management is handled they an agency in town and we didn’t hear from them until the afternoon of check in but all went smoothly!
While it is a small town and walkable- the walk is very steep uphill and down - doable but something to be aware of!
