About this house rental
Echo Hill allows is like nowhere else. It offers complete solitude with a multitude of amenities. Set on 40 private acres that back up to state land, guests can be sure to enjoy themselves without any invasion of privacy. This uniquely designed home offers 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. Two bedrooms and baths are in the main part of the house, and the third bedroom and bath are in a slightly separate area attached by a breezeway, which provides further privacy for different members of the party.
The amenities include both a heated pool that opens on May 1 and that stays open until October 31. (The hot tub is available all year round.) Both the pool and hot tub are both located in a glass-enclosed structure with retractable ceiling and sides.
The main part of the house has a well-appointed kitchen and dining room, plus a screen porch seating area for nicer weather. The living room with wood-burning fireplace and Smart TV is also in this part of the house, along with a piano for those who like to play.
Upstairs, the loft-style space houses the master bedroom with queen bed, and an en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and separate stall shower. There is a desk in the room for work-related activities, and there is a small balcony for taking breaks from such, with a lovely view of the natural pond. As well, the laundry facilities are on this floor.
Downstairs is the second bedroom, which can be set up with either two twin beds or one king-size bed. Next door is a bathroom with stall shower.
Down the breezeway is where the third bedroom can be found. There is a bedroom with a queen-size bed up the spiral staircase. On the first floor is another living room/game room with a Smart TV, a foosball table, and assorted toys and games for guests of all ages. There is a full bath with stall shower here, too.
Between the house and pool house is a stone fire pit and a gas grill. We supply the wood and the propane. There is plenty of yard for kids to enjoy running and playing.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for traveling back and forth to Woodstock and Saugherties. It was very clean and lots of room for 6 people and our pups. We saw lots of deer. I think my favorite part was eating breakfast in the screened in porch every morning.

Serene and beautiful. The home was stylish and comfortable. The pool was wonderful. Sitting outside or on the screen porch all we heard were birds singing and cicadas chirping. A very relaxing vacation.

This house easily earned it's 5 star review. My husband and I stayed here in Sept 2020. The house is in a beautiful, quiet area. The home is well laid out with two loft style bedrooms, and one master bedroom. The kitchen is well stocked, and the guest soaps/shampoos were appreciated. The pool and hot tub were a WONDERFUL addition. The outdoor space in this house was our favorite part. We also appreciated that they are pet friendly. Communication with the property manager was easy, and we found the house to be clean and tidy. Some things we wished were different:The property has 40 acres, but we were unsure of what goes with the house. There is beautiful fields and forests surrounding the home, but the last thing we wanted to do was trespass on someone else's property. Maintenance crews showed up unannounced several times. One afternoon we got quite the shock when a landscaper wandered into the yard when my sister and I were sunbathing. The pool maintenance folks also arrived early (before 8 am) one morning while I was out walking the dogs. Luckily they are well behaved and friendly! Overall those two things did not detract enough from our stay to effect the 5 star review. This place really is beautiful and worth the visit!
