Aveiro Central Its ALL there Apartment

The apartment had everything needed for our holiday. It was a few minutes walk from the hub and canals. Paulo was an excellent host.

Know it's personal preference but the beds weren't too comfortable. Also we knew there wasn't a lift but we coped. Paulo helped with our luggage when we arrived.

La ubicación es muy buena. El apartamento es amplio con buena luz, televisión en cada habitación y bien equipado. El anfitrión es atento, se preocupa por tu estancia y te da muchas recomendaciones.

La accesibilidad al alojamiento no es muy buena, es un segundo sin ascensor, por lo que tienes que subir escaleras. Un contra si vas muy cargado o tienes movilidad reducida. La cocina está equipada con todo tipo de utensilios pero para nuestro gusto, podría estar más limpia. Por poner la lavadora te cobran 5€, algo que no había visto en ningún alojamiento.

The location couldn’t be better—so close to lots of restaurants and the river. At the price point, I rate this a 10. If the price goes up, I might feel differently. This apartment exudes “coastal vacation.” So much colorful art on the walls. It’s very cheerful. The owner is friendly and so helpful. He provided a lot of written tourist information and maps. The apartment has lots of windows and natural light. Truly, nothing has been forgotten! There are instructions on how to use the coffee makers, labels on some of the switches and outlets, ample towels, a cord to keep the bedroom door from slamming shut if it’s windy while the windows are open, and the kitchen is well-stocked, including some “leftover” food staples that we didn’t use. If, like me, you prefer a bit more minimalist approach, you can put some of the tourist information in storage while you’re there. One of the bedrooms also serves as the living room. This was fine with us, but it might bother some people.

For some people, there will be just too much “stuff” everywhere! I don’t care for opened food left in a rental apartment. I would have preferred a separate living room.

It's all there. Maps, rcommended walking routes, recommended restaurants, recommended boat tours too. Be aware that this is a 2nd level apartment with stairs, but the owner was helpful in moving luggage up, and offered to come to help bring luggage down. Aveiro is a lovely city, and the host reflects this as well.
