About this house rental
Watch the waves from the comfort of your couch in this beachfront home at Rockaway Beach, OR. Just a few steps to seven miles of serene sandy beach.
The cozy ~1000sq ft 3 bed, 2 bath pet-friendly house is set up with utmost care to provide a warm and comfortable stay.
Please note the low clearance carport (6ft 7in height) and follow parking restrictions on the front driveway.
No smoking or marijuana use on the property, please.
Seas the day is a cozy home, just a few steps from the sandy beach, with a beautiful view of the ocean and twin rocks.
Pets:
1 small to medium size dog is welcome. Please keep the pet off the bed. We will charge extra if we find pet marks on bedding. Please use sofa covers if allowing them on the sofa.
Parking:
Drive through the shared driveway and park in the carport or backyard. Please respect the no parking signs on the shared driveway. Carport clearance is only 6ft 7in.
Noise:
The Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad is about 50 feet from the house. When tourist trains shuttle between Garibaldi and Rockaway Beach, during the day, you will notice it in the house. Kids might find this an experience!
Living room:
An open-concept living room adjoins the dining area and kitchen. The large picture windows allow plenty of natural light with gorgeous sunset views. The room also has a leather sofa, a love seat, and a recliner. The sofa is a queen pull-out that can sleep 2 additional guests. The center table and dining table, made of reclaimed ship wood, accent the home theme.
Sleeping:
The master bedroom has a beautiful view of the twin rocks. It has a comfortable king bed with a memory foam mattress (Novafoam). This room has a TV. The attached full bath has a regular-size shower and is stocked with towels, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and hairdryer.
2nd bedroom has a memory foam queen bed and a TV.
3rd bedroom has a custom-built, lower full upper twin, bunk bed with an 8" memory foam mattress. This room does not have a TV.
2nd bath has a walk-in shower and is also stocked with towels, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and a hair dryer.
Dining:
The compact dining table seats 6, with 2 additional counter seating right next to it.
Kitchen:
A stocked kitchen with necessities for preparing a wonderful home-cooked meal during your stay. An espresso machine, coffee maker, coffee bean grinder, toaster, blender, Instapot, and kettle with some complementary coffee beans, tea, and condiments are just a few items in the kitchen.
Deck:
The deck provides more hangout space with access to the crow's nest that offers a gorgeous view of the beach. Please note the access to the crow's nest is steep (like a ladder). It is your responsibility to watch your kids around this area. There is a gas grill on the deck.
Internet & Entertainment:
Internet is through Spectrum. The package is rated at 400Mbps download and 20Mbps upload. Wifi is through Netgear Nighthawk wireless router.
All TVs are set up for Netflix and Youtube TV for several over-the-air, cable channels. We have also stocked the house with a few beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas for your use.
Security Camera:
There are 3 live-streaming security cameras installed. Two in front of the house & 1 in the carport.
4th camera in the deck & indoor security system, though wired, are currently disabled.

The entire upstairs house & open backyard is yours to enjoy during the stay.
Access restrictions: Locked unfinished basement. The Neighbor's paved driveway next to the backyard is private property. Please do not use this driveway and respect the property boundaries.
The approach driveway to the house has an access easement with the neighbor, so please respect the parking signs.
The guest is advised that the unit contains a bunk bed & steep access to the crow's nest. Guest agrees to use the bunk bed and access the crow's nest at his/her own risk and to hold the host harmless for any damage and/or injury caused by guest's said use of a bunk bed or crow's nest access.

We cannot wait to come back. The place was very clean, comfortable, and well appointed with a lot of small touches (extra batteries for remotes, night lights, etc.). The master bed was comfortable. The views better in person than what is described in the listing and the beach amazing. Quick communications when we had questions and clear checkout instructions. We are already thinking about when we come come back.

Great beach house! Many thoughtful touches throughout to make us feel welcome. My sister tried the pull out couch for one night and did not find it to be comfortable, would recommend only for a child or bring a "topper" if you want to use it for an adult. View was amazing, nice beach access, easy walk into town. We would definitely book again!

We have stayed in Rockaway several times and this was one of the best stays I have had. The views were amazing,the beds were so cozy and the outside access to the beach was great. Thank you so much for your wonderful home. I will also say this has been the best stocked Vrbo I have stayed at as well.
