Lovely town but booking host needs to make more of an effort

Bed was comfortable and security blinds made it dark enough to sleep soundly. Aircon covered the whole apartment which was great!

Hot water took a long time in the shower. Kettle was disgusting, the host kindly replaced it. Kitchen was not really set up for cooking. Dishes had been washed and left on counter, not put away. Floor dusty and long hairs everywhere. Cleaner did not male much effort. When I asked for a clothes-horse to hang my clothes to dry it was not provided. Why have a washing machine if guests can’t easily dry their clothes? There were also no bin-bags in the place. I always say if the host wouldn’t be comfortable living there then it’s not ready for guests. Bathroom has a soap dispenser which was empty, instead there’s a quarter of a bodywash bottle there. I know that’s not what i have in my bathroom at home, so why is that the best you can do? Guests pay 3-4x what a local would pay to rent a room like this. It should be decked out with all the bells and whistles.

It was cozy and the owner was very helpful. It was a last minute booking and they prepared the apartment for us very quickly.

The stove didn't work very well, it was very slow and took a long time to heat up.

A great location is no excuse for a dirty room

The location of the room is excellent. Right in the heart of Shkoder with easy access to all the restaurants and bars.

Upon arrival, the room was not cleaned and incredibly dirty. The owner told us to come back after an hour, and when we did, it was clear that they only cleaned in spots where one walks. There were paint scraps on the floor, dust in and on the cabinet/ wardrobe, and the curtains were partly broken, too short. and insufficient in blocking any morning daylight. The bathroom was to the point of disgust, after the 'cleaning' session, we still found hairs in the shower and over the whole apartment. The layout of the bathroom is questionable, too, that after a shower the whole floor and toilet is wet. There is no shower curtain or anything to block the flow of water. Furthermore, though perhaps not entirely to ascribe to the apartment, a lot of construction works were going on, making the whole place incredibly noisy. Honestly, I can live with the curtains and the noise, but whether the hotel is one star or five stars, I see no excuse for a filthy apartment. Disappointed.

Excellent location in need of a mop and vacuum cleaner

The location of the room is excellent. Right in the heart of Shkoder with easy access to all the restaurants and bars.

In addition to my other review, we also found a lot of the furniture to be in desperate need of cleaning. It look liked twenty year old bus seats where you do not want to use blue light or a germ detector. Sad.

Broken air con = a hot night

Air con did not work, also no batteries in the remote, so had to find some ourselves. Check in instructions were not on the booking, just emailed instead.

A few issues but I would recommend

The lady was so kind and helpful and she booked the bus to Threth for me.. Good value for the money. The room was comfortable and modern with a nice little balcony, good AC, comfortable beds and huge sofa. She gave me a kettle when I asked.

You have to call her to find it, there is no sign and even the neighbours don't know. No issue for me as I have an Albanian SIM but you may not want to book it if not. Some problems with water pressure caused the shower to go cold but the water was hot again next time I tried it. Bathroom could have been cleaner but she cleaned in a hurry as the people in the other room hadn't left when they should've

Perfect stay in the centre of Shkoder

Perfect place to stay in Shkoder! Apartment is located in the centre of the city, close to every attraction as well as the inter-city bus station which is very convenient. Room was super spacious and clean and the host communication was great (check in at 11 pm was very smooth). Very close to restaurants, bars, as well as the promenade. Parking for free in front of the building was a nice bonus! Would definitely recommend.

A pleasant and enjoyable stay

The location was quite great as it was very near the center, which was wonderful as we did not have a means of transportation but rather just walked. Hence, it was a very good location!

Great place overall! I would have enjoyed a few more amenities but that was not an issue at all. The hosts were quite awesome too!

great location. the room is new and clean. the hostess is available and doing the best to help with any problem.

the wifi in my room was really weak (might be temporary problem) and there was no option to pay with a card. but i still recommend the place.
