About this house rental
This large lake home can sleep 12 comfortably. It is the perfect getaway for a large family or a group to enjoy one of Minnesota's finest lakes. The home features a spacious living room with see through stone fireplace to the outdoor patio. It has several large windows for great views of Otter Tail Lake. The main floor includes two bedrooms, a master suite with access to the main bathroom with walk in shower and double sinks, and a second bedroom with a great lake view. The main floor also includes a 1/2 bath with laundry. The upstairs has a large entertainment area included a second living room and game room, it also has a second kitchen / bar area and outdoor balcony for enjoying the beautiful sunsets. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms that share a large bathroom with a shower / jacuzzi tub and double sinks.
The outdoor space features two patios for entertaining, one off the main floor and one down by the lake. The beautiful sand beach and shallow water is ideal for children of all ages. The beach is great for building sandcastles, enjoying water toys, or just simply falling asleep on the resort style lounge chairs. Otter Tail Lake is great for all water activities. The water is clean and clear for swimming, water skiing, wake boarding, tubing etc. Otter Tail is also a great fishing Lake with many options for guided fishing tours or just dropping a line on your own. We have an optional boat lift for those who choose to bring a boat, or we can also help with boat or pontoon rentals for an afternoon, day, or your entire stay.
The area is great for vacationing with several shops, restaurants, and two State parks within close driving distance. Glendalough and Maplewood States park offer several ways to enjoy the outdoors including walking and biking trails, kayaking, swimming, fishing and more. There are two golf courses within walking distance. An area favorite is Balmoral right across the street. It is an 18 hole par 72 that features beautifully maintained tree lined fairways that will challenge golfers of any ability. For those just interested is a quick 9 Balmoral North is a 9 hole par 27 executive course that allows for a quick leisurely round. Whatever you are interested in I'm sure you can find plenty to do in the Otter Tail Lakes area.

Sue and Jerame were wonderful hosts! ☺️The house (and lake view) was beautiful with all of the amenities. Having two levels with their own living rooms was really nice to let the kids have their own space from adults. Smart TV(s) for a rainy day to snuggle up next to the fireplace and watch Netflix or Disney+. Two coffee makers was a simple but big bonus in our eyes! The guys enjoyed fishing (even if it was in rain and snow ❄️) and the ladies enjoyed shopping in Ottertail at the fun boutiques and shops. We made wonderful memories!! Definitely would recommend!
