Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo 12D at Pili Mai was perfect for a group of 6. It was a 3 bedroom-3 bath condo with a beautifully stocked kitchen as well as a comfortable living area and relaxing lanai. The area was quiet and the grounds were pristine. We used the pool area a couple of times which was beautiful. Certainly less crowed and quieter than the resort pools. When we had a minor issue with a remote/TV in one of the master suites, I was responded to immediately and someone was over to help and resolve the issues within 15 minutes. The ease of check in was simple. The location was near the beach, restaurants and activities. The condo was clean and had all we needed for the visit. The only thing I would say is that the carpet in the bedrooms were a little worn and the room closest to front door stayed warm even with the air conditioner on. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay and we would definitely gravitate towards this condo when we go back to Kauai.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the Pili Mai Condo complex, 12D in the Poipu Beach area from June 9-18. The unit was well stocked with kitchen supplies and fun stuff for the beach. The condo is starting to show some wear; the granite countertop near the sink has a big crack in it, the blinds in the small bedroom don't easily go up or down, the rug in the 3rd (small bedroom) needs a good cleaning as does the sofa cushions. Those things were acceptable.However, we were very disappointed to find that while the description of the unit claimed there was a 2nd master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, it had 2 twin beds in it, and the very small 3rd bedroom had a queen-size bed and was cramped with no floor space for suitcases and was assumed to use the bathroom off the public area. We selected this unit because we were two families traveling together – two couples each with one child. Because of this layout, the children naturally got the twin beds and the second couple ended up with the cramped smallest room without a bathroom. We would not have chosen this unit had we known this and felt it was very misleading, as the general comments for this site don’t specify this. How about bunk beds in the small bedroom as an alternative so the 2nd master could be enjoyed as that? Overall, it was a nice place, just a few observations we had during our stay.

Overall very spacious and perfect for larger groups. However, there were some cleanliness issues regarding the sofa bed, master bedroom shower, blankets and oven mitts. The sofa bed had crumbs on the bedding and there was sand still in the shower. The blankets had an off putting odor to it and the oven mitts had dried food stuck to it.
