Didn't stay in this home as double booked

Found out night before arrival that house was double booked, however host found another cottage nearby for us that was very nice

Well equipped kitchen with a range of appliances and thoughtfully stocked with basic cooking essentials

The direct exit from the bedroom immediately almost onto the staircase could be a safety hazard particularly in the dark - a barrier such as a small door could address this issue

An absolute gem

This property is just beautiful. Really good introduction to the property, location easy to find. Spotlessly clean. Beds so comfortable. Fabulous kitchen. Nice touches including toiletries, biscuits, tea, coffee etc. Good parking at property. We will definitely be back. Really lovely place to chill, and locate yourself for trips on the NC500. The location is absolutely breathtaking. Keep doing what you do, it’s outstanding.

The only tiny thing would be black out curtains in the bedroom, as it’s bright for long hours in the summer. This is just a personal thing.

Wonderful remote Cottage

Thanks to GPS it was easy to find Northern Lights. It is a very comfortable 2 stores cottage. Beds were excellent. The kitchen looked beautiful. One does not need to go far to find a public path to the big beach. It feels remote and it was very quiet.

It would be a challenge to get to this place with public transport.

Excellent accommodation for an overnight stay with stunning views

It was in an idyllic location. A lot of space and well thought out. Host had thought of everything and it was easy to check in and out. Excellent stay for travelling round the NC500 but thinking of staying here in future for a little bit longer as the location was stunning.

its a cute and spacious cottage well laid out in a fab location. We were welcomed in person and despite the power cut, every effort was made to assist.

The downstairs shower is in need of a thorough clean and chips in flooring in kitchen, hole in table cloth and scuffed paint work are minor but noticeble for the price.

To obtain the entry keys was near on impossible. Direct contact numbers were nearly nonexistent Finding the actual place. Needs information The stair landing to the main bedroom. Don't slip or sneeze

The downstairs shower screen was not clean/ hadn’t been cleaned. Dusty/ dirty in shower door rails in bathroom. Table and chairs for garden would have been nice . Painted walls marked and dirty - needs some TLC After eating out for a week whilst staying in B&Bs, it was nice to have use of a kitchen to cook our own food .

It was a self catering rental, however everything one needs was available. The house is well kept and very clean. Parking space at the back of the house was great.

Beautiful location. Fabulous views from front of the house and even saw a cow walking along the road in the morning!. The kitchen was very well equipped and it was a bonus to have 2 bathrooms. The beds were comfy and the bed linen was great quality. The self check in was the easiest I have ever used!

Upstairs bathroom was very cold as there was a cold draught coming from the tank cupboard. Otherwise it was a lovely stay.
