Quiet area, 5 mins walk to Train & Bus Station, all amenities within 5-15 mins walk. Typical Portuguese Town House with nice patio and roof terrace. You can travel light if you want as this is a home from home.
Pre booked taxi through Booking.com as there was 20% discount. Driver dumped us two blocks away, seemed confused as to where the property was even after showing him the address. Gave him the contact number for Celia who was waiting for us at the property whom he spoke to. We thought this would help the matter then he started driving up one way streets the wrong way which was a safety concern. Then to crown it all the taxi didn’t turn up for our journey to the airport, which cost us another €30.

The owner was very supportive when we had a minor problem. Lovely lady who met us when we arrived. Just lovely all round.
Lack of air con but we should have checked before we booked.
Building works on next doors roof which prevented us from using the roof terrace
