Excellent!

Location in the centre of town was perfect. The apartment was very unique and quirky, very well-equipped and homely. The host communicated with us very well and left several welcoming touches, sweets, biscuits and some delicious cider :) He also offered for us to check out later if we needed which was really kind and meant we didn't have to rush. We appreciated this gesture. Thank you Martin!

There were one or two things which some might find a problem e.g. a rather unpromising entrance to the street and some very steep stairs but this was all ok and easily manged by us. We were a little unsure about the parking at first but when we followed the host's directions closely we soon worked it out and the parking space was not too far from the apartment. Temporary parking in the square in front of the house was easy. So, no problems at all really :)

Superb

Martin goes the extra mile to add personal touches in this excellent apartment - small things make a big difference - and this place is full of thoughtful little touches. It was spotlessly clean and somewhat quirky (in a good way). There is a secure parking place available which oddly takes longer to drive to than it does to walk to (pedestrian streets help the walk) be aware that you'll need the provided key fob to get in - and out - of the open air parking spot - you then need to return the keys/fob to Martin's letter box on the ground floor. Overall - a great place to stay - well kept, in a good location.

The downside is the stairs - as you enter the building you wonder what you have let yourself in for - the stairway starts off shabby - However - as you climb - things get better and better. It is quite a haul though with baggage - so expect a mini work out each time you enter!
