Our custom built 2,6000 square foot, 5 -bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home is newly updated and furnished. This classic log home is located in Hermosa Meadows, the residential neighborhood adjacent to Cascade Village, less than 2 miles north of Purgatory Resort and 26 miles from downtown Durango.

This is a rare opportunity to rent a newly updated luxury home yet have access to the free on-site amenities at Cascade Village including an indoor heated pool, sauna, outdoor/indoor hot tubs, pool table, outdoor tennis court, and ski rental shop (with discounts). The home is immediately adjacent to national forest land with hiking, cross country skiing, mountain biking, four wheeling, fly fishing and a host of other wilderness activities just out the back door.

This residence features a wrap-around deck with amazing views of the Needles Mountains, the signature range of 14,000-foot peaks the Purgatory area is known for, as well as Spud and Engineer Mountains.

Please note, due to HOA regulations, this unit, and all of the units at Cascade Village, are NOT pet friendly.

Cascade Village is less than 2 miles north of Purgatory Resort, 26 miles (less than 30 minutes) north of Durango and 25 miles south of Silverton (less than 30 minutes). Free on-site amenities at Cascade Village including an indoor heated pool, sauna, outdoor/indoor hot tubs, pool table, outdoor tennis court, and ski rental shop (with discounts).

Purgatory offers a complimentary ski shuttle to our Cascade rental guests on a set schedule 1-2 times in the AM and PM during the ski season, on a first come first serve basis. Details will be provided in your rental instructions.

All of the Cascade Village units are equipped with reliable Fiber Optic internet service with an average internet speed of up to 50 Mbps and guests can stream their favorite movies and TV shows on their preferred provider (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime) using the smart TVs in the unit. With fast and reliable fiber optic WIFI, guests can stream on multiple devices. Cable TV is not available in any units at Cascade Village.

As with all properties in the area, the condo does not have AC. Given the day times highs are rarely above 80 while the lows are in the 40s. Open the windows after the sun is behind the mountains and close them in the morning along with the blinds that face west. This will keep the house plenty cool.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
