Such a lovely and stylish place. Wish I could have stayed for longer.

Not an issue for me, but you might need to arrange a late check in if arriving after 8pm. We were well looked after when we arrived at 10pm though

Fantastic friendly staff

Very pretty hotel. Lovely furnishings throughout. Arrived during the hotels 5th birthday party. Warmly welcomed with a glass of bubbles. Staff are very attentive and ensured the party didn’t disrupt our stay.

A little gem in a lovely town.

Conveniently located just a 10 minute walk from the station. It was an easy bus ride to Zegerplas parkrun on Saturday morning. We didn’t have breakfast but we did have an evening meal which was excellent. It is small and friendly with lovely features in the rooms. The staff were all friendly and welcoming.

The shower pressure wasn’t brilliant, but it was only a small issue and certainly didn’t affect our stay.

Beautiful hotel with amazing food and service.

We loved everything about this beautiful small hotel. The decor was a mix of vintage & modern. Beautiful muted colours & furnishings. The bar & restaurant were a bonus we weren’t expecting. The drinks, bar food and sharing plates were outstanding. We were 4 generations and we all loved the hotel.

A really lovely hotel in a charming town, highly recommended

A charming heritage property in a quiet but central location, 10 mins walk from the station (beware of the lifting bridge if you have a train to catch) and less than 5 mins walk from the main shopping / business area. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and I loved that I could sleep with the windows open and not be disturbed by street noise. I missed breakfast as I was partaking in a parkrun nearby, but check-out is 11am so plenty of time to come back for a shower. There was a lovely courtyard garden where I enjoyed a delicious brunch.

I wouldn’t say I didn’t like it but, as with most Dutch houses, the stairs are very steep and you might need more than one trip up & down to take stuff to your room.

No A/C and no screens on windows. Opening windows to cool the room let in mosquitoes that were an annoyance all night

Beautiful hotel with friendly attentive staff. Food was excellent!

The decor and friendly atmosphere

We were in the top floor and whilst ok for me the staircase was narrow and steep, wouldn’t have been ok for my mum or elderly relative had they joined us. Bedrooms available on ground floor so if we visit again I’d be mindful of requesting a lower ground room.

Beautiful hotel with delicious food and great service, we had a very enjoyable stay

Our room was beautiful and very spacious, the food was very nice, we had baguettes, frittatas and the breakfast and it was all very nice, and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Breakfast was meager, not on par with any extra cost! Poor choice of pastry, no choice of meats or cheeses, or types of egg, only what was plated. Just a real disappointment. Staff was very good, helpful and considerate! They were the only reason to return!

The decor was lovely, the shower is excellent and the hotel is in a great location for the train station and the town.

The check in procedure online was great but when I arrived the restaurant was closed and trying to get in was really difficult and no advice was given about what to do.

Pleasant and welcoming stay

We had a pleasant 1 night stay over at this charming boutique hotel. We enjoyed our time there, and everything felt really welcoming. We loved the way they served breakfast, including excellent coffee. For dinner, we appreciated the great wine recommendations. The train station was an easy walk, and there is a beautiful park nearby as well.

The breakfast was splendid. We were served at the table with everything we needed. The location was nice and quiet, a 5-10 minutes walk from the railway station.

We were very sad we could not extend our stay from the one night we had booked in advance till two more nights. But the little hotel was sold out - which is most understandable.
