Lângă Stână

Feels peaceful and remote

We loved our stay at Lângă Stână! The building is a former sheep barn, and the rooms were previously occupied by shepherds. It is decorated in traditional Romanian style, showcasing Romanian outfits native to the region. The sheep farm was moved nearby and can be visited. We were warmly greeted by Laura, Petra & Andrei. They were very kind and accommodating. They made us a fantastic dinner, deemed by the kids as the best dinner we had in Romania. The location is idyllic, away from the hustle and bustle of a city, but just a few minutes drive away from the city center and Curtea de Argeș Monastery. The rooms were clean and cozy, also traditionally decorated. They each had their own bathrooms. Would love to come back and stay at least a couple of nights. This is a great place to relax and unwind. They also host events, such as weddings. Fantastic stay!

Petruta is very nice host, she was very kind to all guests. They also cook amazing traditional Romanian dishes!! It was delicious! They have everything what you need: kitchen which you can use, big terrace, garden. The most attractive time is when sheeps come back home to the neighborhood in the evening. You will see a lot of Romanian traditional decoration around, which you will find very attractive! petruta is very good host and person indeed!

Maybe it can help to put some more signs before, to let you know that you are on the right way to the house. In the rest all is good!

There was a private party with totally insane volume of music to the middle of the night, we just wanted to sleep after flying all night and driving all day .. eventually the owner gave us another room at another location but this was after midnight .. basically a nightmare

I liked the breakfast .. only.
