The Cottage

The owners have worked really hard to provide a warm, welcoming comfortable place to stay with all the modern touches you need without taking away from the charm & character of the cottage. Everything we needed was there, fully equipped kitchen to cook a meal (we did twice) and the bonus parking space was great too. Lovely garden to the side which got morning then late afternoon/evening sun & was a perfect spot to relax at the end of a busy day exploring listening to the stream rushing by. Yes the road outside is busy but it didn't detract from our enjoyment & once inside is hardly noticeable. The location for us was perfect, everywhere we wanted to explore (Glastonbury/Cheddar/the coast) was easily reached & the centre of Wells with all its shops/pubs/supermarkets just a 10 mins stroll away. We thoroughly loved our stay, would definitely recommend & if ever in the area again would return.

Super clean, very comfy and warm cottage perfect location for seeing Glastonbury, Cheddar etc. A stream runs through the garden and is very pretty. Host is very friendly and helpful. One of the best cottages we have stayed in. Extremely comfy beds. Well equipped.

Nothing. There is a little bit of road noise in the double bedroom but did not bother us.

A nice short walk into the centre of Wells through the high street. Cottage was very spacious and we loved our stay, hope to return next year
