Superb and friendly staff. Delishois well cooked food. Great location with the boat around the lake going from the door step. A few nice places to eat locally and sweet little town.

No sitting room / lounge … just the restaurant with seats.So for reading the paper, time out in the afternoon the only option was to retreat to the bedrooms which were small and comfortable but no room for a chair let alone an armchair.

A wonderful stay at this charming lakeside hotel. We stayed in a double room with lake view on the 3rd floor, and the balcony was an absolute highlight, one of those rare spots where you just want to sit and never leave. The rooms are exactly as pictured, simple and unpretentious, but spotlessly clean and well maintained. What truly sets this hotel apart is its location, which is simply unbeatable. Situated right on the shores of Lake Geneva, the views are breathtaking at any time of day. The two restaurants below the rooms add a wonderful warmth and atmosphere to the place, yet remarkably there is no road noise or cooking smells making their way up. A genuine surprise and a real testament to how thoughtfully the property is laid out. Saint-Gingolph itself is a hidden gem, peaceful, unhurried and deeply restorative. If you are looking for a proper lakeside escape away from the crowds, this is it. We will absolutely be back.

Good location, personal staff. They gave me a spare walking stick and we could leave the car for 5 days for a small fee

Room very small; no elevator; there was a fridge but locked and couldn't use it; could hear the neighbours clearly; no safety deposit box; furniture very poor quality
