Very charming hotel

We liked the atmosphere and spirit of the hotel. The personnel is kind, specially very nice server at breakfast. Nice selection of cheeses for breakfast. The position is exceptional, right next to the wondefully decorated central square with convenient access to the underground garage.

Although the decoration adds to the atmosphere, the hotel could use some renovation. No scrambled eggs for breakfast and the cooked ones were dark and didn't look fresh.

Very disappointed

Location is good and convenient

I booked 2 rooms with my 3 kids from booking.com including breakfast. Once we finished breakfast, they charged me 7 euro per child for breakfast. They told me kids are not supposed included on n breakfast. That was so no sense. On booking.com it was clear that breakfast is included but hotel says it’s for adults not for kids!!! This is disrespectful and disappointing

Perfectly located and good for triathlon stayover

The staff was really warm and welcoming. They demonstrated flexibility to make our stay comfortable. I was coming with my wife for the triathlon and it is a place we can recommend. Besides, location was perfect: central and in a quiet pedestrian street.

Furtnitures in the room were quite worn out and consequently not really comfortable. If your plan is to stay in your room, you might be disappointed. Go there with the ambition to discover the city and surroundings.

Great cute little hotel.

It’s a little cute hotel and friendly staff. Good value for money. During the heatwave it wasn’t too hot though, thanks to a little fan in the room. Much better to stay at places like this than at big hotel chains, this is much more personal.

Great stay!

Centrally located at the pedestrian street in Evian, with plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. Despite the central location it was very quiet. Kind of an old style interior, but that also adds to its charm. The room had a kettle and coffee and tea. Very clean. Friendly staff.

The shower case was a little hard to close. I think it was slightly broken and needs an upgrade.

Clean comfortable hotel in a good location.

Despite being in an older building, a good sized elevator provided easy access to upper floors. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The bike storage in their enclosed courtyard felt very secure.

This is an older building - the floors are not exactly level and hallway carpets look well worn.

Great location, great team, perfect for a stay at Evian

Excellent Location, all was extremely clean and the hotel employees were very helpful and kind. The room was clean with a great view and all usual things like The Coffee Soap were available.

None as hotel exceeded the expectations for a 2 star hotel.

Overall, very good.

Good size room which was tastefully decorated. The bathroom and the shower worked very well. The one criticism was that the heating in the room was not turned on until late in the evening and therefore the room was a bit cold late afternoon/early evening.

The heating as mentioned in point 3. The heating should be switched on early especially on colder days.

Worth an extra night.

Wonderful old hotel that was exceptionally comfort. The fact that the hotel was in a no parking area was nothing more than a slight inconvenience as it wasn’t far to carry our overnight bags. The reception was very helpful and solved a number of queries regarding amenities etc. Free parking is available between 19:00 and 09:00 and lots of places are available but one may have to search! We fell in love with Evian and the hotel and stayed a second night. We have altered our itinerary so that we go back there at the end of our holiday.

Hotel was good for one night stay just passing through

We were walking the camino and need to find somewhere early evening. The room is a bit dated but ok for the money, we had our own bathroom. There was a nice pool but we did not have time to use it as we had to leave early the following morning. No coffee or tea in the room and it could do with an update.

The staff was extremely helpful and very nice. They recommended great restaurants. Breakfast is a must try, they bring local food and one of the best we have ever tasted.

Great location. Source cachat (Public Evian Sping) is only 5 minutes walk away. There is a bar and several restaurants right outside the hotel. Just a few minutes walk down to the lake. Friendly staff and fast check in experience. They have a lift that can accomdate 2 people or 1 person with luggage.

Up a relatively steep hill. There is no parking within 100 meters of the hotel. If you are not lucky enough to find parking at the same level of the hotel, you are going to most likley need to awalk up a steep hill with bags. Room was not adequately stocked with toilettries and the Front Desk closes at 8:00PM.

I enjoyed my stay in Evian and met some very nice people.

Breakfast was very nice, apart from the fruit and fruit salad. Great to be able to boil an egg! My room faced away from the street (views of buiding works), but it was nice and quiet during holiday time which suited me.

The toiletries that were promised on the booking form were very sparse ( eg. the body wash in the shower.). The floor of the shower was very slippery especially when getting out. The door one has to open when getting out of the lift was always sticky. ( please note for the cleaners).
