Lovely location, shabby accommodation

Quiet. Private outdoor seating by the river, lovely in the evening. Good location, an easy walk into Loches. Private parking.

The accommodation was all rather shabby and cramped, and the bathroom was far too small with a tiny sink. The electric wiring looked dangerous, especially the induction hob, which was badly wired in on the kitchen sink countertop. It was all very homemade. The towels did not smell very nice.

A very comfortable and enjoyable stay in historic surroundings

Everything you could need in the one room. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, condiments provided. Good cooking facilities. Two outside tables, one by the river. Use of large garden was a real bonus. Very quiet. Very pleasant and helpful hosts. Ab;e to park the car on the premises. A pleasant 20 minute stroll into Loches, a lovely medieval city. Beaulieu itself a very interesting old village, well worth exploring.

Lovely town, lovely walks. Loches beautiful. The garden of the gite was lovely right on the river. Picturesc. Host very friendly and plenty of thought had gone into providing assorted drinks, jams etc.

The gite was a little too cramped for us. Every facility and appliance was provided for but no work top space.

charming independent studio giving directly into the back garden where a A quiet gorgeous Canal runs through Where you can have lunch or coffee in the morning on the deck right on the shore of the canal. very friendly owner monsieur Pierre who will loan you bicycles and give you good advice if needed. bakery right on the corner of the street and the old medieval city center of Loches is three minutes by bicycle. The kitchen and fridge or filled with free drinks and surprises like Nespresso type coffee machine tea,butter, milk ,toast ,jelly and much more (nice touch)!

Maison charmante et propriétaires encore plus

C'était un voyage retour pour rentrer chez nous en Bretagne et il coupait le retour en deux parties . le gîte est parfait . Le beau temps n'était pas au RDV mais les propriétaires sont charmants et le studio est agréable . Gîte à conseiller . Merci à Dominique et Pierre pour leur accueil et sympathie et leur amour aux animaux . Annie et Robert .

Un endroit magnifique et un hôte au top !

Pierre est vraiment très accueillant et aux petits soins. Le logement se situe sur un terrain arboré magnifique avec la rivière au bout, où on peut même se baigner. Le gros ventilateur a été très apprécié par cette canicule ! Le WiFi a très bien fonctionné (ce n'est pas tj le cas quand on voyage). Pierre a laissé plein de petites attentions (boissons, confitures, etc), il sait recevoir ! Le logement est petit mais fonctionnel et dans un écrin de verdure très calme. Le parking est sécurisé, ce qui est très appréciable. La commune se situe à l'entrée de Loches.

J'ai regretté qu'il n'y ait pas de fenêtre pour la laisser ouverte la nuit. Le lavabo de la salle de bain est vraiment trop petit donc pas pratique, mais ce sont des détails.
