Les Logis du rempart

Excellent very central location in Loches right next to the Chateau and historic areas. Clean first floor apartmen. Safe and free private adjacent parking. We loved the narrow carved wooden spiral staircase but some may have a little difficulty climbing it.

A small but disappointing start - within minutes of booking and paying for our stay on booking.com some months before arriving, we were asked to arrive at the later time of 4.30pm instead of the advertised time of 'from 3pm'. We agreed to this, but on arrival, we noticed another rather abrupt short email in French saying we could now not arrive before 5.30 due to a tradesman arriving at the property. After a long journey, we said no, that was not at all acceptable to us. The tradesman should have been booked much earlier in the day to facilitate the customer. The lady owner intervened and arrived within minutes with an apology and the keys, and couldn't have been more pleasant, so everything was absolutely fine after this initial unfortunate double request for a delay entry twice. I feel other customers can book this very pleasant studio flat with confidence. Thank you.

Très beau gîte avec du charme et situé idéalement dans la vieille ville avec un accès facile. Hôte sympathique et facilement joignable.
