About this villa rental
With its green-shuttered whitewashed walls and air-conditioned interior, Villa Erato ticks off traditional Greek island style and modern comforts. Villa Erato’s coup is the doors that open onto a large veranda. From here, you can look out over the villa’s rectangular pool and to the green slopes of Mount Palouki.
The pool is hemmed by a stone sun terrace topped with sunloungers that take in sweeping bay and harbour views. With wheels, it takes a few minutes to reach the sand-and-pebble cove that houses lively Glysteri Beach.
Al fresco meals are easy at Villa Erato. There’s a purpose-built barbecue on the poolside terrace and easy access to the kitchen. But the real outdoor dinning plus are the sea views.The kitchen is fully-equipped with an oven, microwave and dishwasher, and there’s a dining table.Indoor cleaning,changing linens,outdoor and swimming pool cleaning is included in the price.

We had a fabulous time staying at this villa. We were met near the ferry and transferred up to the property by car. The pictures look great in the listing but you are still not quite prepared for the fabulous views as you walk down the steps to the villa. Good sized pool and lovely clean villa with everything you need. Welcome pack of snacks and wine was a lovely touch. Lia, the owner, was very helpful in sharing info about beaches and restaurants, supermarkets etc. It is possible to walk down to Skopelos harbour but allow 45-60m and bear in mind it’s a long way up in the heat. You will really need a car and the access road is quite basic but you get used to it and it’s totally worth it as you never get used to that view! Lia can help with car hire too. We’d definitely return.

This property was an amazing space with the comfort of a refreshing pool in a very hot summer. It was lovely to come back from investigating the many beaches to have a fantastic accomodation to return to and the respite of the lovely pool overlooking the main port and town at the end of the day. It has some steep steps and needs a car to get to but well worth the effort. Highly recommended for a relaxing holiday.

Highly recommended. Lovely terrace and pool with amazing views out to sea, over Skopelos Town, to Alonissos and in the other direction to Evia. Well equipped, Good communication from owner. Steep stone steps down to the villa should be mentioned for families with children or anyone with mobility issues. Vehicle essential to get to Town, supermarket etc. Steep, at times narrow and bumpy drive up from the Town which might seem a bit daunting initially.
