MAISON PICASSO - Jacuzzi, vue, terrasse for 6

The view across the bay was breathtaking and the location was perfect. Right in the heart of the old town with everything at your doorstep. Every morning walking the promenade was magical.

We have to be honest here. The sofa was not the most comfy but we were hardly in the lounge so was not a major issue.

Cherry was very helpful and friendly having met us to let us in and show us around the villa. She said she was able to meet us nearly an hour early which was great as 4pm is a late check in (especially when your plane lands in Nice at 9:30. She also kindly brought round some blankets for us to use in the evening on the roof terrace when the temperature went down. The Villa was very roomy and had everything we would want. The roof terrace was fabulous and it was a really nice hot tub/jacuzzi - the jets only worked on one side but we preferred it quiet with no jets anyway, so we could relax in the warm water and enjoy the view (we mainly used it at night but still a lovely view). All the beds were really comfy and we had great sleeps because of that and because of how quiet it was. Recommend Le 31 Messana at the side of the near market. We bought breakfast there every morning to eat on the roof terrace (we had good weather)- croissants, baguettes and lovely pastries

We liked it all. Would love to come back. We were family of 4 but it would work well for 3 couples We are fairly laid back so the late confirmation of everything from Ivan (who was very responsive and helpful) didn't stress us too much but I think it might others. We booked many months in advance so forgot the small print about the security deposit and none of the later confirmations we had from Booking.Com mentioned it (but just indicated all was paid for and ready to go). So to be reminded by Ivan the day before about the 1,000 Euro deposit was a bit last minute + he wanted it paid via paypal. Not a biggy but suggest this is looked at to make things smoother for guests. But it did have me checking for an alternative villa the day before our flight just in case!

Location was incredible. Right in town, but still on the water with a great view from the roof deck.
