About this house rental
Enjoy the peacefulness of an authentic Texas ranch just minutes from downtown Austin. Nestled just off of Highway 290, this easily accessible, newly renovated Red Barn Studio is located on 90 acres of land. If you rent for 7 nights you get the 7th night free! (discount will be adjusted once the rental request has been submitted). This property boasts spectacular hill county views and is surrounded by exotic game where you can watch the camels (with 2 baby camels), gemsboks, a scimitar herd, and a donkey. The lower level of the Red Barn has an open studio style floor plan with a living area, wall mounted tv, queen bed, twin bunk beds, full kitchen, counter dining for 4, full bathroom, laundry room with full size washer and dryer set and a fully furnished covered patio with a gas grill and more. Upstairs is a large living area with plenty of seating, a wall mounted tv, another bedroom with queen bed and wall mounted tv, full bathroom, full kitchen, counter dining for 4 and beautiful deck- perfect for sunrises and sunsets! There is free WiFi access throughout the property and streaming tv services. The Red Barn Studio is a gateway to the hill country, winery tours, many local wedding venues and much more. There is also plenty of room for a helicopter to land.

This was a peaceful, clean, and spacious place for us to use as a home base near our local event. The location was convenient, and the sunrise views were just gorgeous! We also enjoyed watching the exotic animals on the property.

Great location for the us to stay for our son’s wedding close by. Property was beautiful and communication with the owner was great. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

We loved our stay at the Red Barn! It is on the outskirts of Austin, allowing us to spend our days exploring the city. In the mornings and evenings, though, we enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the ranch, and watching the camels, wildebeest, zebras, and donkey from the beautiful deck. (Note: The sunrise comes out directly in front of the deck for early risers...it is beautiful and you can watch the animals wake from their slumber as well.)The place itself had everything we needed, and the family was very comfortable. No issues whatsoever...we will absolutely return given the opportunity.
