About this house rental
Detached single-storey house 4 /5 pers (young children not included), very close to Villeveyrac and only 6km from Mèze, located in the pretty little hamlet of Mas d'Hondrat, surrounded by vineyards, pines and offering many walks or bike rides
This family house is located in the heart of the Thau basin, in Occitanie between the sea and the scrubland.
Spacious, functional, bright house largely air-conditioned.
As the house is located in the heart of a wine estate, noise can be caused by the passage of tractors, agricultural machinery and the preparation of wine orders in the cellar. The harvest period is the time of the harvest of a year of hard work and intense activity, beware of noise pollution
The house comprises inside:
- A traditional kitchen/dining room, equipped with a television, a dishwasher, a fridge freezer, a microwave, a mini oven-grill, an electric coffee maker, a vacuum cleaner.
- A living room with television/reading area (partitioned room with sofa bed and sofa that can accommodate a 5th person).
-A large veranda with dining area overlooking the vineyards very pleasant for the evenings.
-Two spacious bedrooms each with a 140 cm bed (one of the bedrooms has a sunny terrace, with an unobstructed view).
-A fully renovated shower room.
-two separate toilets
-A laundry room with washing machine.
Its exteriors:
A large adjoining flowered courtyard with tables, chairs, parasols, barbecue.
A fenced garden with semi-shaded lawn/deckchairs.
A raised terrace facing south, view of the vineyards.

We absolutely loved our week stay here with our dog. Garden is fully enclosed and has shaded areas. Beautiful setting the middle of the vineyards with only a handful of houses around yet only a 10-15 minutes drive to the town of Meze (weekly markets are a must, plus go to the Etang de Thau for a doggy paddle). The host was lovely, great communication. The house had everything you needed, it's actually right next to the Hondrat Caveau (winery) who apparently do tours and tastings. They have a storage unit/garage under the back of the house.There are some nice walks around but be careful as we were turned around by one of the vineyard owners on a track as it was private (there are no signs) so maybe a map with areas to walk and not walk to be provided would be good.I would definitely recommend mosquito spray when out and about! Highly recommend as a place to stay, would definitely come back.
