The sheepfold is accessible on foot or via a 5-km drive on a dirt road suitable for a small 4x4. You’ll be all alone in the world. View of the village of URDOS.
The sheepfold is located in a sloping clearing surrounded by a forest of hornbeam trees. You’ll find porcini mushrooms, chanterelles, raspberries, wild strawberries… depending on the season…
The sheepfold is heated by a wood-burning stove (with a small oven on top); running water comes from a nearby spring and is heated by a gas water heater; lighting is provided by candles on the first floor and battery-powered lamps upstairs. You can have your luggage delivered by car by a local farmer to the driveway upon arrival and departure. Cheese is available for purchase on site.

La bergerie est un lieu enchanteur, au coeur de la nature, idéal pour la randonnée, la contemplation, l'observation. Le confort est parfait de simplicité et en harmonie avec l'environnement.
