Old Town River Apartments

Very clean and spacious apartment. Great location

Could of had newer towels but that wasnt a big issue

The property was absolutely STUNNING. Very clean. Very short walks from everywhere. Had everything you would need and more. The host is very nice too.

Very good location, overlooking the small park along the riverside. It is close to the center, but far away enough from any bars that could cause noise. The apartment is large, with windows on both sides of the building so it is possible to open windows for cross-airflow if needed. It is on the 2nd floor, so there are not too many stairs needed to get there. The windows also don't directly face into other apartments, so it feels private. To check-in (or for any other requests) you need to call a provided number to unlock the door remotely. Communication is possible both in English, Russian, and of course Lithuanian (not sure about other languages). The owner was incredibly helpful when we had left behind an item by accident, that we picked up a few days later. This was much appreciated! I am thinking of returning here as a place to stay for attending the theatre just around the corner. While we stayed this time we had a look at the nearby clock museum, the historical navy boat, and had easy walking access to the old ferry terminal to get to the Curonian spit. For our purposes, it was also useful being close to the public library, and some bus stops that go directly to the location of Lithuanian Language exams. There are heated towel rails in the bathroom, and a washing machine, which can be very helpful for longer stays. The rooms are bright, the couches are comfortable - it is pleasant to stay inside the apartment, not just a place to crash. I would like to live in an apartment like this. If an early breakfast is needed, head nearby to the Hotel Victoria for a generous breakfast. It costs 20EUR for guests not checked into the hotel, however the rooms cost twice as much for much less private space, so it is still a very good deal. For a nice lunch or dinner you can also head to monai close by, which is Michelin recognised.

Rubbish bins in the kitchen could be labelled for recycling separation purposes.

Very cozy and clean apartment with all accessories you could need. Nice landlord. Plenty of space and downright center of everything but still private.

I cannot say that I didn't like anything.
