Great central location. Comfy bed, good parking space (payable in addition)

We had a room on 1st floor, which was pleasant but didn’t feel like a purpose built hotel room. The floor was tiled the same as the entrance and hall, so was a little strange. Room needed a bit of a decent clean, but was suitable for one night.

Great option for a short stay

Great location and cozy bed. The receptionist is really nice. Appreciate the complimentary water and tea in the room. There were also leaflets about local museums that prompted us to visit one.

The shower needs some deep cleaning(there were some dirty and moldy patches on the glass and on the shower head). Also, if you’re not careful enough, you can easily spill the water out of the shower because the glass door is loosely mounted and does not necessarily prevent this from happening. There were also some noticeable stains on the wall.

Amazing location, very convenient with several supermarkets and cafes nearby, not too far from the city centre as well.

The blanket is suitable for peak winter. For mild cold weather, it can become too hot and disrupt sleep.

A convenient base, but cleanliness & kitchenette should be improved

1) Calmness and walking distance from main train station. Even tram stand is very close to go to places. 2) Reception Staff (whenever we interacted with them) were kind and provided extras when asked—thank you! 3) Small cozy vibes. 4) Had proper working elevator 5) Clean Mold free bathrooms with clean towels

Cleanliness 1) Room was not even properly vacuum cleaned 2) The Rug in the room was visibly dirty and required proper cleaning. 3) Mattresses of main bed was not comfortable Kitchenette 1) We booked a room with a kitchenette, and it came with only very basic supplies. There was an old bottle of cooking oil (likely left by a previous guest) that was long expired, and an opened pack of salt. 2) The utensils were quite worn out and limited. Plates and bowls were fine 3) There was a Nescafé coffee machine with just one new pod, and only a couple of sugar sachets for tea — it felt like the kitchen amenities hadn’t been properly restocked before our arrival. Reception 1) Just a heads-up for future guests: reception seemed to be staffed until about 19:00, and some mornings we couldn’t find anyone until around 11:00. For example, if someone accidentally locks their key inside the room late at night, it could be quite inconvenient (fortunately, this didn’t happen to us — just something to note)

A nice stay without unnecessary fuss. The room was clean, very comfortable and quiet. Automated check-in and check-out worked flawlessly.

The location is great, close to the train station and a 15 minute walk to the old town.

The walls are paper thin, so you can hear everything in neighbouring rooms. The decor is dated. The clientele frequenting the hotel are noisy, single males who come knocking on your room, who are not German.

Quiet & safe neigbourhood

I liked the self check-in/out. It’s fast and convinient if you are coming late. It’s 15min to castle funicular with bus, and 10min walk to old part of town. You can park in the street, 10€ a day and you can get the park ticket at reception.

Toilet door is see-through glass which was a little bit uncomfortable since the room is smaller, and the bed is right next to the bathroom. During our stay they didn’t clean our room, or change towels.

Nice area and street. Acceptable no-frills hotel, but should have been better in view of the price.

Hard and uncomfortable bed. The single bed room was very small. Several gray silverfish (ctenolepisma longicaudatum) in the room. These insects are a concern, since you really dont want to bring them to your own home via the luggage. The hotel should take measures to combat them efficiently.

It is okay for a short stay

Perfect location. Unfortunately, we were given a room on the ground floor that I found uncomfortable. In addition, the curtains of the windows from the ceiling were extremely dusty (which was poor). The bathroom was small and with a low ceiling but ok (we stayed only one night)

Nice room, air conditioning was wonderful on a hot day (a/c is not common in German hotels). Good location, short bus or tram ride into the old town, about 15 minute walk from train station. Electric kettle and mini fridge in room. Everything was very clean. Good beds, good water pressure
