This mountainside family condo features not only an unbeatable location just one block from Steamboat Ski Resort, not only a complimentary shuttle service to take you downtown at a moment's notice, not only a gorgeous interior but also what is perhaps its best feature - it's friendly and accommodating staff.
Featuring an open concept layout, soaring, vaulted ceilings, and a wall of windows, this vacation rental is sure to put you at ease the moment you walk through the door. Whip up your favorite recipes in the full kitchen with a breakfast bar, dine together or play board games at the nearby table for six, or settle in for the night in the comfortable living area warmed by a gas fireplace. And just through the sliding glass doors is a covered, furnished balcony where you can dine outdoors or relax with your morning coffee and a good book.
The main bedroom has a a TV, balcony access, and an en suite bathroom. There is also a sofa bed in the living area.

Winter in Steamboat Springs is a magical experience the whole family will love! Be sure to check out all the fantastic winter slopes of Steamboat Ski Resort such as Kuus' Cruise and Three O'Clock for the group experts, Rainbow and Moonlight for the advanced skiers, and Why Not and Spur Run for the beginners. Afterward, grab an après-ski meal at one of the amazing mountaintop restaurants. The kids will love a trip to Howelsen Ice Arena, just three and a half miles north, where you can enjoy a pleasant open-skate on the ice and even goof off in inflated bumper cars.
You’ll find plenty of hot weather activities all over the place! Take the kids out to explore the majestic outdoor beauty of Steamboat Springs with hikes on Thunderhead Hiking Trail. I reserved last minute and was pleasantly surprised with how nice the B308 rental presented itself! I'm thankful for a few of the reviews prior to my own, highlighting some of the rental's attributes.
I agree in that the unit's appearance is understated, having since suggested to the powers that be to take some updated rental photos that reduce some of the sun glare, which currently (in my opinion) give the rental's looked a "sun-faded" appearance. Also, though dated to some degree, I felt the rental offers good value for what it is and is well stocked with fitments.
I like the elevated ceilings and extra light coming into the 3rd (top) floor. I also like that the view out the living room windows are not looking out over a parking lot, trees immediately outside the window, and/or even other nearby rental/time share buildings. Instead, there's a nice separation of view to a grassy area, onto a nice variety of trees, onto the mountain/s beyond.
The rental is very convenient to the greater property hot tubs and pool being just down the stairs and around the corner from the rental itself. It's stairs only with no elevator/s, but my family was fine handling this.
I was also thankful for there being some good food options for a variety of meal types within a 2 minute walk from the rental. I ended up walking to Antonio's for pizza and beer, walked twice (2x) to both Apres Burger Bistro for breakfast and also to the Wild Plum Market at various times for general previsions, coffee and Gelato. Sure, you would probably want to go further afield to explore the offerings of greater Steamboat in summer (when we visited), but if you wanted to, you probably could simply stay put in the mountain village.
A comment on cleaning. I discovered the rental wasn't vacuumed upon normal arrival. Vacasa dropped the ball in my efforts to communicate via texting...as many of the messages regarding my stay had been channeled through. Thankfully, the local Lodge at Steamboat staff corrected this and helped make things right in the end. Though an unfortunate lapse, this doesn't impact my general impression or overall review here. I would recommend B308 for any interested, assuming you can handle the stairs up to the rental!

Condo was great. Super close to the gondola which was easy to walk or take the shuttle. It was perfect for a weekend to ski.
Condo has all needed amenities which was awesome. The only downside was the beds were not super comfy, they were very lumpy.
Communication with the property management company was also challenging. It was difficult to get through to anyone. And when I finally got responses they came in several methods: text, email, vrbo. Each with different info.
