Located at the town center, the Big Chill is a hot-spot for entertainment and features an outdoor 25 ft LED theater screen for sporting events and movie nights on the green. Concerts, family activities, restaurants, and boutique shops are just some of the things to do within a less than 5 minute walk.

Beach Accesses for ALL Prominence homes are via South Walton public beach access points. Most Prominence guests utilize Deer Lake State Park beach access or other nearby public beach accesses. Prominence homes do not have direct beach access via Watersound Club nor do they have access to Watersound private club facilities.
INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.
E-Checks are accepted for advance reservations at no additional charge (15 days prior to check in). All credit card payments will incur a 3.5% convenience fee.

House was very nice. Good location. We understood it had a private beach that was nearby, but it didn’t. The first day we biked a mile to the public beach. We used the golf cart once and the battery went low very quickly so we didn’t use it again.
We all enjoyed the stay. House was nice and very clean. Probably wouldn’t stay here again because beach was so far.

Our stay was amazing. The condo had all the amenities to make us feel at home. Spacious and clean. The entire properties with access to pools and The Big Chill area made it feel like a resort. The golf cart and bikes were an extra perk. We will definitely plan to come back again.

Well, let’s start from the beginning. The golf cart broke down on us on the middle of 30a highway. I called 3x to finally get someone to come and pick us up from being stranded on the road. We then take the keys back to the Hub (Panhandle Getaways) walked back to where we were staying. We were thinking we were gonna gonna get another golf cart , but they brought the same golf cart back within 30 mins and told us it was fine. Next day came took the golf cart out again and we had the same issue, they brought us a broke golf cart back and didn’t try and replace it and give us another one. Mind you this was the reason we chose to stay here, Because a golf cart was included, but low and behold it didn’t work and no one seemed to care. Besides that, the dishes in house were dirty, flour was left on most of the pots and pans, old water was left on the keurig coffee machine, dust was everywhere in the house, just didn’t look like the house had been cleaned, and it’s COV19 so you would think they would take this cleanliness very serious, but I guess not. Not only that we had a man walk straight into the front door and my daughter was there sick alone, saying he has to fix a smoke alarm. When she told him he had to leave and he got upset and said inappropriate words. Do yourself a favor and don’t book this townhome. It’s not worth the money me spent and it’s nasty.
