The Big Chill, a family hot-spot for entertainment, features an outdoor 25 ft LED theater screen which plays host to concerts, sporting events, movie nights on the green, family activities, restaurants and boutique shops. Guests will certainly enjoy Luke Bryan's place as it is a very popular place to gather. All of this within less than a 5 minute walk.

Beach Accesses for ALL Prominence homes are via South Walton public beach access points. Most Prominence guests utilize Deer Lake State Park beach access or other nearby public beach accesses. Prominence homes do not have direct beach access via Watersound Club nor do they have access to Watersound private club facilities.
PET FRIENDLY
An additional non-refundable pet fee is collected after booking. Any damage caused by pets will incur a minimum fee of $350.
INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.
E-Checks are accepted for advance reservations at no additional charge (15 days prior to check in). All credit card payments will incur a 3.5% convenience fee.

The house and amenities were great. Check-in was difficult because we couldn’t find our unit in the sea of identical, poorly labeled/numbered townhomes and it didn’t help that they have two streets with the same name so our GPS was useless.
The listing promised four free bikes with the house which I incorrectly assumed would be there when we arrived. What the listing does not say or clearly explain AT ANY POINT BEFORE YOU ARRIVE is that the bikes come from a third party vendor that you have to call at least 48 hrs before you arrive or else you risk not having bikes available for your stay. This happened to us and was very disappointing as the bikes were a key factor in choosing Prominence for our vacation.
Beach access was more of a struggle than I expected. I knew it wasn’t beachfront and was willing to travel but the closest entrance to us was closed for renovation and the traffic on 30A turned what should have been an easy Plan B into quite the ordeal.
Overall a fine stay but likely won’t be going back to Prominence - especially during Spring Break.
