Fabulous short break in the heart of Newmarket

An excellent location, close to most attractions. A clean, well equipped appartment and greatly appreciated welcome package. Beautiful white cotton sheets. Timely and clear communications throughout booking.

A little noisy late at night with pub goers leaving and drey men in the morning. Sofa bed was not particularly comfortable. However, not really big issues

Wonderfully stylish flat in the centre of Newmarket, equipped with all you need - and much more!

The flat was immaculate, stylish, brilliantly equipped & had absolutely everything we needed - and more! We were 2 ladies travelling together, so used both the bedroom & (easy to use) sofa bed. All linens were clean & crisp & smelt amazing. We were very appreciative of the extras provided & the generous welcome pack, which during the heatwave, even included cold soft drinks in the fridge…..also fans for both sleeping areas which were well utilised! Location couldn’t have been better for the centre of Newmarket, and adjacent car park was great value (£3 a day/£10 a week.) Contact with the hosts was excellent, quick & friendly. It was a perfect base for our racehorse-themed break and I would definitely love to return.

Currently the lift in the building isn’t working & when you arrive with suitcases & various bags & food supplies, it’s a bit of a trek up two flights of stairs, particularly in the hot, glass, non-air conditioned stairwell! This is perhaps worth checking/considering if your mobility isn’t good, as from the instructions provided one would assume the lift is available. However, this was a minor issue for us & did not detract in any way at all.

Comfortable, central well equipped apartment.

This is a very well equipped and comfortable apartment in an ideal central location. A lovely welcome pack was supplied. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Newmarket.

We were there Friday and Saturday night and the pub opposite was in full swing which could be heard in the apartment. Not much noise after 11.00pm though so we were able to sleep undisturbed.

The flat was a great location in the centre of town, with a car park next door. The flat was clean, tidy and spacious with everything we would need. It was excellent that the hosts provided a few basic items like bread, milk, coffee to get us going.

Pleasant and well equipped

- Spacious living area and kitchen with all amenities - Well located within Newmarket Town Centre - Spotlessly clean - Flexible and attentive hosting - Sundries (tea, coffee, milk and bread) provided on arrival.

- No option to watch live TV/only streaming - The apartment building is currently under construction, the lifts are out of order and workmen are on the premises. - Perhaps individual toiletries for the bathroom would be better as opposed to large bottles shared by previous occupants.

Perfect home from home, ideally located to park up and enjoy all Newmarket has to offer.

Incredibly well equipped apartment. Absolutely nothing overlooked and a perfect selection of welcome items, meaning no immediate supermarket trip needed.

Not the property exactly, but the current work within the building leave the outer public areas very unwelcoming. The lift was out, the floors were dirty, despite the floor protectors. The location of the bottle bank on the car park directly below maybe a consideration for late sleepers.

Relaxing in a beautiful town in a beautiful apartment.

Everything about it was fabulous. All the extras provided were amazing, including well stocked cupboards. Parking was next door in a safe car park and it was reasonably priced. The Grosvenor is situated in the Main Street close to restaurants, shops and public transport. The enclosed balcony was lovely for a meal or drink. We would highly recommend “ The Grosvenor” at Newmarket.

Exceptional apartment and location, will definitely book again if in the area.

Fantastic location. Short walk to shops, pubs etc. Free parking on site between 6pm - 8am with cheap rates during other hours. Apartment was spotless and fully equipped, kitchen utensils, white goods, iron with board, towels, tv, wifi and a covered outdoor seating area. Clear instructions given by the owners throughout the booking process via booking.com and before arrival regarding codes and keycard. A loaf of bread and milk left by the owners along with tea, coffee and some biscuits, very much appreciated.

The flat was exceptionally clean and tidy, and well prepared for my arrival, the fizzy drinks and fresh milk in the fridge were a very nice touch. Good quality and variety of consumables in the bathroom and the shower was great. The standing fan was also very useful.

Comfortable centrally located Newmarket modern apartment

This was our second stay at this flat and it was great to return. On the run up to our trip our host Steve was excellent with communication. We arrived late on Easter Sunday and being a public holiday too we were thankful for some treats left for us, including bread, butter, milk, tea, coffee etc. The flat comes with all you need for a self sufficient stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our return visit. Wifi was included and all rooms are of a great size. Perfect for a travelling couple.

There is building work going on in the communal areas. This, I understand, is to bring the building up to meet current fire regulations, which was a bit concerning when I found out. Expect drilling, sanding and hammering starting from 8am and lots of dust. Considering the issues with meeting fire regulations it was unnerving to see fire doors propped open and door self closures taken off. Plus the lift was out of action for some reason, meaning I couldn’t bring my elderly parents over for dinner 🙁 The oven needs a clean and the toaster wasn’t working properly. The balcony was covered in pigeon poo and there was even one nesting in the corner. Had it been warmer we would’ve been put off using it.

Lovely clean spacious apartment..definitely recommend

spacious,warm and clean great location, nice balcony, well equipped with loads of condiments that you forget to take for a quick get away ..milk, biscuits tea,coffee for you to use plus they even had shampoo and shower wash ..(we didn’t use but it was extra nice ) these extras are a lovely touch .. I stayed somewhere recently and they didn’t even have salt and pepper ..! bed was comfy , shower was hot ..can’t fault it tbh ..definitely recommend.. ✅

Theres so much to like. hard to find fault .. bigger frying pan please 😉 also remember to put the extractor hood on when frying bacon because the smoke alarm which is incidentally positioned above the hob 🙄 is VERY loud 😫😫😫 once the building work is completed it will be even be better but it wasn’t a problem for us and I think this reflected in the price as it was definitely worth the money 😌 parking was £3.00 a day .
