Did not realise this is a lower level apartment which wasn't a problem for me but would be for some. Stairs quite steep. Not dark but no outlook, on a busy road so quite a bit of traffic noise and a lot of noise from upstairs apartment, I realise not much can be done about either of these things. A little bit more attention to detail would also go a long way, for example, the bin lid was broken off, curtains detached from some of the runners making them awkward to close. Some glasses and cutlery and crockery grubby. Mattresses very soft so not very supportive but that is a personal preference thing.

The apartment had not been serviced when we arrived. However a phone call resulted in the cleaner attending within an hour and cleaning/servicing was carried out to a good standard.

Issue with main door lock every time you came in, dishwasher full of dirty crockery, not enough kitchen items such as jug, grater etc. No welcome pack . Smelled of smoke even though its listed as no smoking

Comfortable place to stay

For one person(i.e my case) the flat was very spacious. It was clean and had all the necessary utensils in the kitchen etc, as well as an iron and cleaning materials (useful for a week's stay). It was comfortable!

I was a bit surprised that the flat was at the basement level (read - don't open the curtains, and not much sunlight). It was also slightly humid inside and the upstairs neighbours made some noise at night (nothing unacceptable, but noticable).

Great location for Newmarket Racecourse

Apartment was spacious, well furnished & very clean. The single bed was really comfortable. Great communication from owner. Ideal location. No problem with keys as reviewed beforehand

The flat was pleasant but in need of a good clean however the bed was comfortable and we slept well

Well decorated and spacious, comfortable, extra bedding, well equipped kitchen, the beds were comfortable and we slept very well.

The bathroom was very dirty, I did take photos of the sink as it was grimy from not being cleaned for a long time, there was scum and ground in toothpaste residue I would not use the sink to wash my face. On arrival first impressions were actually horrific and we were going to leave, but we did look at the flat, which after the hallway was a pleasant surprise. There was a builder somewhere as we could here power tools, the entrance was like an abandoned building, no flooring etc., the flat was in the basement and we struggled to get our cases down the stairs, which would not have been possible for anyone with mobility problems, we both felt we should have been advised that major refurbishments were being undertaken

Always enjoy coming for the racing.

When we arrived at the house it looked really run down alful it got no better when we went in . Dirty and smelly no carpet and very dark. Wondered want we had come to. The in side of the apartment was another story spotless we were very surprised. Very happy with it could not use the Wi-Fi did phone but the person l spoke to only said the people who stayed before us had no problem not very helpful so gave up. We had no complaints about the apartment in side. But felt very unsafe with the very flimsy locks on the doors. Can't imagine it will still be there next year as it had sold sign on it. Would stay again if improvements were made

Good location

It was a nice sized apartment. Directions on how to access the place were easy to follow. Kitchen had plenty of items for easy use. Instant coffee was available, as was sugar. There was even ice in the freezer.

The rain shower head only had a few water spouts working, but the second head worked fine with good pressure. There was no mirror in the bathroom. Please note that this apartment is below the street. Bed was extremely soft.

Great location near the high st, but not too noisy with traffic. Really close to the heath if you like the horses/racing etc. 24hr garage within 3 mins walking distance for any supplies. Supermarket was also really close by. So all in a perfect location, a roomy accommodation and well stocked with extras such as pillows duvets, iron, ironing board and hanging space for clothes etc.

Property management didn't act to change dirty tea towel or remove cobwebs.

Excellant location decoration & furnishing

cobwebs & especially being left with a filthy tea towel which wasn't changed despite contacting the property managers. The main door key which we were warned was difficult to operate at times & took 20 minutes to open the door on one occasion which is one occasion too many creating suspicion that we may not have gained access one night!

This was a comfortable, convenient and value-priced property.

The apartment is quite spacious and has been completely renovated. The location is excellent.

They should provide some dishwasher liquid, paper towels and adequate toilet paper. Also, the mattresses could be firmer. The “invoice” process was frustrating and they waited until the last minute before providing the “key code” information.
