Welcome to Hillside Hideaway! Located minutes from Holiday Valley and downtown Ellicottville, our 3,100 Square Foot home includes 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, an extra loft, and a fully finished walk-out basement, making this the ideal setup for families.

Built-in 2006 on 1/2 acre with beautiful country scenery, Hillside Hideaway sleeps 14 and provides plenty of room to entertain.

Rented the house for a weekend golf trip in EVL with friends and had a blast. The house is beyond accommodating and it has everything you need. 10/10 experience if you're looking for a getaway to Cat County.

Third place was great, close to Ellicottville but a bit off the beaten path, so nice and quiet but quick drive to town for takeout, playground, sculpture park etc. We were 2 families with kids meeting up for a long weekend, it was perfect having the 2 bedrooms on each floor and each with a full bath, great setup for a couple of families coming together. It was clean, kitchen well stocked with utensils, pots/pans. Really great fire pit though we did not use. Would definitely stay again!

We had 14 people stay and there was plenty of room for all of us. Lot's of extra pillows and blankets. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was close to Ellicottville which was nice since we went there Friday night and again on Saturday for shopping. Would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed this home for a weekend ski trip with our two son and family friends with 3 kiddos. The home is a short drive from Holimont, Holiday Valley and downtown, but the home more than makes up for the drive in! We had great family time cooking, playing games and dancing because the house has a wonderful basement game area in addition to the open living room/kitchen area on the first floor, as well as a loft area on the third floor. One of the best things about this home is that it is QUIET! Previous rentals have been much older and creaked, this home allowed kids to go to bed at different times and most importantly allowed adults to enjoy morning coffee while kids slept in! The host quickly responded to questions and made check in super convenient. We loved this house and our stay!

This property had everything we needed for 3 families - plenty of space to sleep, hang out, and get to Holiday Valley quickly (less than a 10 minute drive). The kids even used the back yard for sledding (as well as all the games in the basement, and board games upstairs)! Kevin was a great host, replied immediately to any question we had and was very friendly. Besides food and drinks, we didn't need to bring anything else with us - everything was provided in the kitchen and bedrooms which is a huge plus when traveling with kids. The house was clean and the linens were in good condition. We'd definitely stay here again - thank you Kevin!

We had a wonderful time at this house! Location was exactly the same as the listing, easy to communicate with the owners and the property was very clean and tidy - they even provide you with some wood!! I had suspected it was going to be enough wood for about one campfire but it was much more and very generous. Will definitely be back here!

We enjoyed our stay at this property! The owner was very responsive and easy to work with! Of course we were in the middle of a heat wave and the property has no air conditioning but we made it work! Overall the property was clean and well maintained with lots of room for our friend who was in a wheelchair. Property is a short drive to Ellicotville where you can find Many great restaurants.

We had a great time and really enjoyed the house. We were 2 families celebrating a weekend of skiing with our teen kids they head off to college next year. No issues whatsoever with the house, and the lower level with games was idea for our kids and a few of their friends.

My family and two other families rented this beautiful place for the weekend. It was very clean and a perfect fit for us. The only suggestion I could give, is to put stone around the firepit. It was extremely muddy and difficult to keep the kids out of the mud. Other than that, it was a great time!

This was a great find on Vrbo. Very clean there was actually more space than expected which was great with the kids!! The basement is awesome! The wifi is a bit spotty but that’s to be expected with the location of the property. Thank you to Kevin who was very easy to communicate with and very accommodating with extra requests!

This location was perfect for super bowl weekend with teens! We were close to the slopes and the house was the perfect size and plenty of fun activities for the kids to do! The only downfall was none of us had phone service. It was nice to be off the grid for the weekend. This house had everything we needed and they made it very easy to check and and out! We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay! The house was exactly as listed - extremely clean and well-kept with a lot of amenities to make the stay enjoyable. The kids loved the basement with all of the space and games and the various bedrooms and bed options gave us plenty of different arrangements to work with for our group. About a 8-9min drive to the heart of Ellicottville. Would stay here again!

The fall foliage is gorgeous and the house has some great features like a fireplace and a pretty sweet basement/Rec room. I deducted a star because it wasn’t as clean as I expected and the hand soap was watered down. Other than that, it was great!

Our group of 6 adults and 4 teens had a wonderful stay. The house was perfectly situated, very clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for all of us. We loved stargazing from the deck, relaxing in the large living room, hiking in the surrounding area and enjoying the fall colors. We could not have asked for a better long weekend and we will be back.

We rented this property for a weekend in September to gather with friends. The spacious house was big enough for all 10 of us to spend time and sleep in. We spent most of our time in the beautiful back yard by the fire pit. The owners are super curteous, responsive, and helpful. I would rent from them again anytime!

Got away for a weekend with friends and our children.Great house- Kids loved the full basement! Plenty of space for our teens to spread out and relax. Adults enjoyed the deck and fire pit. Very clean home, easy to check in/out and owner was responsive. I would only note that the house does not have air. Didn’t realize this when we booked and the first night was quite warm upstairs. Cooled down the next day and for the rest of the stay, no problems, but it also was in the upper 60’s outside. If it had continued to be warm, as it had been on our arrival day, I think it may have continued to be uncomfortable.

I stayed here with my family. My children range in age from 8-20 and each of them enjoyed themselves! The games and gameroom were a hit!! The property is as described with extras in each closet. If you still have to work remotely maybe bring your own Hotspot; there is wi-fi but your are in the scenic mountains!! Will definitely stay again!!
