THE SUNDANCE PROPERTY
• Two buildings – Main Lodge + Out Lodge (see more below)
• Stunning 7-bedroom, 4-bathroom on serene 5 acres (~4,000sf)
• Features 2 full kitchens, 3 fireplaces, 3 living rooms
• Expansive wrap-around deck + walkout lower patio with amazing views
• Hot tub, barrel sauna, BBQ, bonfire, man cave & more
• High quality linens & towels, and robes for the hot-tub
• Working remotely & surfing streaming apps with cell-based WiFi throughout. Wifi ordinarily 25-100 Mbps download speeds (although speeds will vary).
• 5x large SmartTVs (50-65") - Spectrum cable TV via the Spectrum app.
• Bring your (fur)babies: pack n play and high chair provided. Up to 2 pets (cats or dogs) are welcome, but please include them at the time of booking rates include a pet fee. See our 'House Rules' for dog breeds we're not able to accommodate. Please inquire if you have 3 pets and we may be able to make a special exception.

The Cabin was not very clean. The floors looked like they have not been mopped in some time. We still saw dried up spills on the wood floor that we cleaned up ourselves. In the upstairs bedroom the cobwebs were all over the walls and in the corners. I understand cobwebs are made fairly quickly but not like this. The lady bugs were a bit of a problem. There is a look board also on the upstairs door frame. The upstairs carpet could use a good cleaning. The gas fireplace in the lower level, would start for a couple of seconds and shut off. We did contact the owner to let them know. The gas fireplace on the main level worked like a charm. We had to figure out the television (no sound), the soundbar was not connected correctly. The sliding screen door might as well be taken off. Over all the cabin does need some TLC. I also know this is rented out and understand that things do happen to the property over time but this was not for us. We did end up leaving an entire day early.

We had an incredible time at Stay Apres. The property is spacious, stunning, and tucked away in the peaceful countryside of upstate New York. We stayed here with a large group for a summer weekend and were welcomed by lush forests, vibrant greenery, and plenty of open space for outdoor games and activities. The secondary house with the downstairs game room was a favorite hangout—perfect for late-night rounds of shuffleboard and pool. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax, connect, and enjoy nature in style!

This home has everything you'd want for a big get-together. Fire pit, hot tub, game room, lots of space to spread out, and Wifi. Beds were very comfy as well. Two of the seven bedrooms (as well as the game room) are in the smaller building but it's only a few steps away. House is in a quiet location, only two other homes nearby, but also just a short drive from Ellicottville town center.

Overall, the house had a variety of amenities that were desirable and the location was close to the ski resort but there were a few issues with the house that we wanted to mention. First of all, it was not very clear that this was two separate buildings, and tromping back and forth across the icy driveway was a challenge. It was difficult to drive up the driveway and unloading and loading our cars with a poorly treated driveway was dangerous and frustrating. The sauna did not work and the hot tub did not get above 94. The set up of the bathrooms was awkward with all of the bedrooms sharing such a small shave. There were also very few towels for a house that is supposed to hold 20 people. The owners were responsive and friendly, but a few issues with the house caused a little bit of frustration.

The Chalet was exactly what we needed for our large family to feel cozy and rejuvenated. The layout of the home allowed everyone to spread out for privacy and personal space, while also allowing ample space in the common areas for gathering together for fellowship and group activities. The setting of the home in the hills and farmlands is just stunningly picturesque, complete with wildlife and gorgeous vistas. The fire pit area was a hit for making s’mores and sharing stories. The decks and grilling areas are spacious and well furnished. The village is nearby with ample restaurants and shopping. Nearby nature trails provided exercise for the little ones and older ones alike. We also enjoyed following the Amish farm trail and picking up fresh canned goods and quilts. The whole experience from check-in to check-out was superb. We hope to come back!

This house was perfect for a group ski trip. Quick, less than 10-minute drive to Holiday valley, and downtown Ellicottville. Including a grocery store. Ater years of being cramped at resort townhomes, this place offered plenty of space. The place was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the amenities of the hot tub, sauna, and game room. The host was easy to work with, and quick to respond to all communication. Nice set up for groups or multi families vacationing together. Will be returning next year.

You often hear horror stories about booking a place after the pictures look amazing and realize it wasn’t what you thought. Not here! This property is everything and more. Spacious indoors with plenty of open space, sauna, hot tub and incredible guest house with games. Incredible fire pit which really created an amazing atmosphere at night. Close enough to town and resort but far enough away to also have some seclusion. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

We were a party of 11. Everyone enjoyed our stay, the beds were very comfortable. The only negative review would be associated with the water! The smell of sulfur was overwhelming, despite the elaborate water treatment equipment at the chalet. The house was very hot at night. (Our family has allergies that prohibited us from opening the windows). It was a great place to stay for a wedding. We will always have fond memories! Susan and Bill Dugary

Our 3 families had a great time on this gorgeous property that had everything you need. The kitchen is one of the most easiest to walk in and start cooking with all of the tools you need. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean. Everything was clean actually. The games cabin was so beautiful and had everything to make our stay fun for 2 rainy days in. Can’t say enough good things about the place. Dean was also super responsive when we needed to connect. Would love to rebook next year!

My family and I had a great time here between Christmas and New Years. We were really impressed with all of the amenities. It was appointed with everything that we needed and then some and we loved the decor. Our group ranged from 16 to 90, both skiers and non-skiers and everyone felt comfortable in the house and found activities to entertain themselves. We were especially pleased with the quick responses from Vic throughout our stay when we had questions.

Great host and awesome spot! Stayed in a lot of nice cabins but nothing that compared to this. We typically visit for skiing but we came for a golf getaway and the location was perfect. It was nice and quiet, just into the countryside and under 5 minutes to town and golfing at Holiday Valley. Very clean, very well stocked and awesome design - the local touches & skiing room signs were a hit. Thanks for being so responsive Dean, we'll be back!

We had an amazing stay at Dean's chalet! It was the perfect destination for our fall girls getaway. The design was awesome and impressed even the more picky girls in our group. With tons of bedrooms there was plenty of room for us to spread out. The location is great being only a few minute drive to town, while feeling tucked away and off-the-grid with lots of privacy. We loved the hot tub and the amazing views of the countryside from it. Thanks Dean for being so responsive. We will be back when the skiing gets going!
