Hi! I'm Chuck, the proud owner of Sugartown Chalet. When I first discovered this property, the massive timber-framed deck overlooking the mountains stopped me in my tracks. As a lifelong skier, I'd dreamed of a place minutes from the slopes, but we've created something more - an entertainment paradise where families and friends create unforgettable moments.

The crown jewel of Sugartown Chalet is undoubtedly our massive Amish built covered deck, thoughtfully designed as the ultimate year-round entertainment space.
Gather around the custom timber-frame bar to watch the game on our 75" TV, or sink into the 7-person hot tub overlooking the mountains. As evening falls, the ambient lighting transforms the space, while guests lounge around the gas fire table sharing stories and making memories. All the furniture on the deck was hand built by the Amish.
"We go to EVL every year in the fall with our friends and this was by far the best place we ever stayed at. We had plans to go to the village and ended up staying and enjoying the atmosphere at the house instead!" - Carly

Location was everything in my search for the perfect mountain getaway. Sugartown Chalet sits in a quiet setting with no close neighbors, yet you're just 3 minutes from downtown Ellicottville's charming restaurants and shops.
The slopes at Holiday Valley are a mere 5 minutes away, accessible via our secret back road that bypasses town traffic. Mountain bikers can hop directly onto the trails from our property, and we've added an EV charger for our eco-conscious guests.
Local Dining Favorites: Enjoy craft beers at Ellicottville Brewing Company, savor farm-to-table cuisine at West Rose, or experience local favorite Dina's. Each restaurant is less than a 5-minute drive from your door.

You can literally bike to the trails from this home. It is located approximately 3 minutes from town, but on a road that has a back way to the Holiday Valley and Holimont for mountain biking.
If you are a skier/boarder - slopes are five minute drive without having to go back through busy town!
Level 2 car charger for use for our electric car guests (J1772 TYPE 1 connector) . Teslas please bring an adaptor.
