About this house rental
This exclusive, completely renovated, approx. 480qm large, former farm is located in the village Wallenborn in the volcanic Eifel. It is named after the "Wallende Born", a cold water geyser, also known as "Brubbel" in the vernacular.
The detached farm is located on a plot of land of approx. 2700 sqm.
The house was tastefully furnished by the owners and equipped with all comforts.
The preservation of the original building, built in 1894, the use of old building materials and the combination of the spacious, modern integrated rooms in the newly built part of the building, creates a special living feeling.
The house has, among other things, a room in the attic with more than 175 sqm of living space, fireplace, sitting area, Bulthauptküche, loggia, and a TV area with guest toilet accessible via a balustrade. From here the old area can be reached via the original old staircase, and the new area via a new outside staircase with a view of the garden at the rear.
The house is divided as follows:
On the ground floor there is a room with a sitting area, table, cupboard and a wood-burning stove directly next to the kitchen with 90 cm stove/oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer
A room with a sitting area, access to the front loggia of the house as well as access to the winter garden of approx. 30 sqm, through which there is direct access to the large terrace at the rear of the house.
A spacious, open dining room (the former barn) with a view up to the upper floor. The special thing about the dining area is that old building fabric and new architecture are combined here.

Activities around Wallenborn:
In Wallenborn and the surrounding area there are many activities on offer, such as golf, mountain biking, fly fishing and numerous walks in the beautiful hilly landscape of the Eifel and Ardennes region. From here you can enjoy the legendary cycle paths on the upgraded railway lines to the full. Once you arrive at your destination, the regional cyclist will take you back to your starting point. The Maare, crater lakes filled with water, attract you in the summer months with perfect bathing opportunities. In the district town Daun, 10 km away, you will find the Volcano Bike Trail Park. Due to the variety of activities on offer, one should not forget that the Moselle region with all its offers, be it wine tasting, walks in the vineyards or a bike tour along the Moselle to Trier (70 km), the oldest Roman city outside Italy, is in the immediate vicinity.
