About this house rental
Cal Farriol is a rural guesthouse located on a central street in the small town of Sant Joan de Mediona, which is situated in the mountainous, wine-tourism region of the Alt Penedès. It’s just about 74 km from Barcelona, 40 km from Montserrat, and 45 km from the beaches of Sitges.
The house is spacious and fully equipped. It features a basement area with a foosball table, a Dutch billiards table, and a children’s play area. Going up the stairs from the entry hall, you’ll find a practical, open-concept space consisting of the kitchen-dining area and a living room with a fireplace. From here, you can access the outdoor patio with a barbecue and patio furniture to enjoy the fresh air. In the patio, there is a small annex building containing a bathroom with a shower and another room with a washing machine and all the necessary supplies.
On the upper floor, you’ll find three bedrooms with double beds; in two of the more spacious bedrooms, it’s possible to add a children’s bed, a crib, or a double rollaway bed. The smallest bedroom has a curtain serving as a door.
On the same floor as the bedrooms, there is a bathroom with a bathtub and shower where you can relax and enjoy your free time.
In the summer, our guests receive free access to the municipal community pool located in the local sports complex, about a 3-minute walk from the property. It’s a spacious and pleasant area where you’ll also find a padel court and a tennis court.
Everything is ready for you to enjoy a pleasant stay with all the comforts you need.

We had a wonderful stay in Cal Farriol and would highly recommend it to anyone. We used the barbecue and the amenities of the neighborhood including the conveniently located grocery and butcher. We also took in the Barcelona match at the local bar. The linens and bedding provided were wonderful, the kitchenware well stocked, and the host was available and made several suggestions to make our stay more pleasant and enjoyable.

Absolutely gorgeous house with everything you could possibly need. Àngels is an incredible host, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.
