No fuss
The beds are so hard and the pillows are old and flat. There is a smashed window in the living room which hasn't been secured. The step down to the back garden is far to steep. Theres no way it would pass regulations which makes it illegal for letting

We stayed here on various occasions for longer term stays & the property was great for us. As a family of 4 & a dog it was perfect, lots of space, very well equipped & the location is really convenient for access to York.

Easy to access and code for lock boxwas given in plenty time.
Spacious lay out, with a living space big enough for our large dog crate and comfortable beds upstairs. Bathroom facilities were great and overall inside of the house was clean. Excellent location, only a short walk to the city centre. Lovely river walk nearby and parking for one small car (although with some effort we did squeeze our SUV into the drive!)
The raw sewage and waste water from the bathroom flowing into the garden was very unpleasant and ruined our ability to enjoy what would be a lovely space to sit. Having reported the issue, I'm not convinced that it was taken as seriously as it should have been, considering what a health hazard it was to us and our puppy. We were simply told "we will get someone to come and look at it at some point". If this was my property and I was told that waste water was pouring into the garden, I would argue that was the job for an emergency call out.
This is also the only self catering accommodation (and I've stayed in a fair few) where there wasn't so much as salt and pepper available in the kitchen. Every other property like it usually has salt and pepper, cooking oil and the basics so I was surprised there wasn't any.

Excellent location, pet friendly, very spacious and comfortable, great neighbourhood. Great instructions prior to arrival and when needed the communication with the property management was of top quality

The location was great the walk into the city was very pleasant.
The road the house is in was very quiet.
The outside of the house could do with a clean. The windows, window sills and front door were quite grubby, dead plant by the front door in a pot made accessing the keysafe awkward.
Broken garden chair on the patio area needs to be taken away. A small coffee table or side table for the lounge would ba beneficial.
