Never again. Since I paid this much and can’t get money back we’re forced to stay in this crappy service place.

Nothing. There are way to many rules about being super quiet and that there are other people in the same unit. It said they are the cheapest and luxurious on booking.com then posting it 116$ for the night. They added more money per person says 80$ for kids and has a camera in the main area. We are not allowed to hang out in the main area and that you have to be super quiet in the bathroom no showers after 11 and before 6 am no refunds and it’s very lousy to put a sneaky 59$ on top for cleaning fee 15% more and another 8% service fee. To the 116$ turned into 250$ I could have got a nice hotel for the same Better service and no hidden fees. It was a rip off big time I was very disappointed and there is not tv or lamp in this place to feel Comfort. It makes you feel like your grounded in someone’s home. Bad feeling.

And the extra fees will not allow you to Use the laundry or anything. If they have my money back I would have been able to get a better place for the night.

Very cozy, quiet & clean! Good for relaxing and working.. I slept very well. I didn't hear any noise from upstairs and little from the other basement occupant. Wifi worked very well and having a desk was great. Plenty of space in the fridge. Easy parking. It's pretty bright - it doesn't really feel like a basement.

Hard to see house number in the dark. A few more utensils would be nice.

The Host and Hostess are wonderful people. They run a very quiet establishment which was perfect for my needs. They are responsive to questions and provide excellent services like laundry for very reasonable prices. Overall, I recommend Deluxe House for your home away from home.

1-Hand towels too old was provided as bath towels 2- they charge extra for service and cleaning it was super dirty, like toilet, carpet were not vacuumed. 3-Very little toliet paper like half of a roll. 4-provided only two pillows. I asked for extra bed- no blanket, no extra pillow was there for double bed. 5- i left my brand new towel as a tip so other guests can at least have a proper bath towel to use. 6- i couldn’t sleep all night at all. 7- washroom super dirty and they put an unwashed dirty kitchen cloth as face cloth. As soon as u r in the building phone service gets disconnected and their wifi suckssssss I do not recommend this place at all.

Our experience at "Delux House" is the worst we have experienced in 30 years of traveling. I needed a one night stay in Surrey BC before taking an early ferry the next day to Victoria. It appeared on your web-site that this was a small hotel/motel; however when we arrived it was a private house with three rental units in basement. The small room assigned to us did not have a bathroom and we had to share a common bathroom with other units. However in spite of COVID there were no disinfectants available. Further, there were no towels or soap. This is unacceptable. In the room there was a page outlining their rules etc - it also gave prices for toilet paper, soap etc. The landlady said their web-site showed this page but I never saw it and not sure I was referred to their web-site. Their unusual and confusing rules (because the document was poorely written) should be made clear on the booking.com web-site. Finally they added a $49 cleaning fee when I booked the room; that is also unacceptible. I have told many friends/relatives in Canada not to use booking.com. I would appreciate a response from booking.com in the next week and can send you photos

Illegal suite with endless rules. Outrageous rates.

The property was clean.

We were in town for an event and wanted a home base to relax and have meals. However this home was set up as a boarding house. The room was clean, but didn't have any amenities. The kitchen/common area did not have a stove or even chairs at the table, so it seemed decorative, rather than intended for use. There weren't dishes to use, and cupboards were labeled private for boarders and not for guests. There was no TV. We weren't allowed to smoke on the property, and when we went to go out to the street we were told we had to stop going in and out because walking on the outdoor stairs was too loud (this was all before 11pm on a Saturday). We had to leave our shoes outside, and though I understand this was cultural, we were also not allowed to wear slippers inside. One of the beds was hard as a rock. We were supposed to have two parking spots and only had one. If you needed more toilet paper, water, laundry, etc.. there were extra fees. The biggest concern was there were no windows in our space, meaning no fire exit. This is not a place to stay if you want to relax and spend time with family and friends.

A great place to put down your head for local business or school, in a lovely neighbourhood.

My son is staying in Vancouver for schooling the next few weeks. This property is exactly what we needed for his safety, for him to study and attend college each day. The COVID protocol in place is reassuring and the owners, Danny & Anny have gone to much effort to ensure the safety of their guests. We shall be booking again!

A very wierd and disappointing experience.

Was told we were to have a luxury room, was met with a very bare room with with no windows a sofa a table and two random beds (with child's sheets) and nothing else. We were given a single large towel to share between us, no hand towels in bathroom or face towels. The bar of soap was obviously used by multiple people it had been worn down to about half the size. The only other thing in the bathroom was a bottle of body wash.... Which had been clearly filled with alot of water. There were signs saying we were to be charged for water bottles and toilet paper as well as other random rules. At 11 on the dot we were told we had to leave and were told at first another hour would be 15$ and then only half an hour would be 15$. Also had very random text messages from host. Definitely not worth the 200$ for the night.

A lifesaver on a very busy long weekend.

Anny, the host, was lovely, she was very friendly and welcoming. Her guest room was simple and tidy and a welcome option on a very busy long weekend.

The owners of the B&B didn't provide ANY extra amenities (i.e. toilet paper, soap, shampoo, in the bathroom but could be purchased, guests had to empty their own garbage bins) that I feet should have automatically been included when paying $150+/night for accommodations. The towels were quite old and the accommodations was very basic. It was perfect for what I needed but for the asking price I expect a few more ameneties to be included.

Very relaxing, quiet and perfect for what I needed.

Anny and her husband were exceptional! They were very friendly and helped out so much when there were no other accommodations available in the area on a very busy weekend! The property is very quiet and nicely maintained! It was perfect for myself and I would definitely come back!

Amenities like towels and extra toilet paper were not included and I hadn't realized this at the time of booking. The host was perfect and got me just what I needed.
