Apartment "Am Winterhaus" in Tux in the Zillertal Alps

Our new apartment "Am Winterhaus" is located in Vorderlanersbach - very sunny and quiet - a little above the village. Feel comfortable in a passive house made of wood with comfort ventilation. Our house is located directly on the ski slope of the Eggalmbahn in the Zillertal 3000 ski area. The Hintertux Glacier can be reached by ski bus or by car in 15 minutes. Our apartment for 4 to 8 people (100 m²) consists of three bedrooms, 2 showers with toilet and a separate toilet. Our non-smoking apartment is equipped with satellite TV, radio, DVD player, broadband internet connection, safe. Our spacious kitchen is equipped with an electric stove with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer and various small appliances such as a coffee machine, toaster, blender, etc. Bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided by us! A ski room with shoe dryer, a garage for 2 cars and parking spaces are available.


Hiking: Enjoy the wonderful mountains and explore some of the countless hiking trails in the immediate area. Hikers can start right outside the front door, or comfortably cover the first meters of altitude with the cable car and only start the tour from the mountain station. Cozy snack bars and managed huts invite you to linger. “Aim high” in the Zillertal Alps high mountain nature park. Numerous three-thousand meter peaks rise majestically in untouched nature. Of course, hiking guides offer their expert help for easy to demanding hikes and mountain tours. A visit to the Spannagel Cave on the Hintertux Glacier is also unique. The natural cave gives a direct insight into the interior of the mountain (guided tour, approx. 500 m long). Another tip is to visit the highest rural museum, it is located in the Höllensteinhütte at 1,740 m above sea level.

Action & fun, children: Our apartment "Am Winterhaus" is in a fantastic location for adventurers of all kinds. Cycle with your mountain bike directly from the front door to the highest alpine pastures, where you can relax once you have seen the mighty panorama. For adventurers, canyoning, cave trekking, ice climbing, flying fox, rafting and tandem paragliding are on the program. Local action clubs offer expert help from well-trained guides. The sporting offer is rounded off by tennis courts, shooting range, bowling alleys, squash courts, fitness studios and swimming pools. Children's hearts beat a lot faster in our holiday region. The Playarena opens its doors every Saturday and offers an indoor adventure world on 1000 m² for children from 2 to 16 years. Riding, Kraxel-Maxel-Camp, tobogganing, professional ski camp, children's party, glacier flea park, there is always something going on.

Culinary and nightlife: The spacious kitchen in our apartment invites you to cook together and get together. But there are also several restaurants and inns with Austrian and international cuisine in the vicinity. The nearest grocery store is approx. 1 km away. We are happy to offer you a bread delivery service. The nightlife in our holiday region offers something for every taste. You can celebrate in the surrounding discotheques, pubs and bars. The nearest cinema is in Mayrhofen. Traditionally, a visit to a concert by the Bundesmusikkapelle or a visit to the theater on the home stage is traditional. You can spend rustic moments at various balls and festivals in the many clubs and customs groups.
