As soon as you set foot inside, the rustic charm of Huckleberry Ridge welcomes you to the mountain country lifestyle you’ve longed for. Living room ceilings soar mirroring the wide-open spaces outside the many windows. Soft leather furniture beckons you to sit down and make yourself at home. Start a fire in the beautiful stone fireplace to warm your vacation home and your spirits. Turn on the HD Smart TV and call your crew in to join you for movie night. As you head upstairs, you’ll stop and notice the view from the loft. It is fantastic! Then, try your pool-playing skills or set up a checkers tournament on the game table. There’s even a second media corner where you can watch a show or hook up your gaming system upstairs out of the main living space. Free Wi-Fi is provided for the duration of your stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Huckleberry Ridge. It was very remote and away from all the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge which we really enjoyed. The house was a lot smaller than the pictures show and I wouldn't recommend it for any more than 4 adults. Also, be aware that TN has scorpions (about 3" in size) in the mountains, as we found one in the cabin on our 3rd night there.
The property management took care of us during the wildfire that was occurring during our stay. We were evacuated because of the fire and they contacted us to let us know that we needed to get our belongings and leave, they called us a couple days later to make sure that we were able to get our stuff out of they house and issued us a refund for the nights we were not able to stay in the cabin. We continued our vacation sightseeing different areas of TN and staying in hotels, which was fine as well. This was our first time staying in a Vrbo rental and over all we enjoyed it and will do it again in the future.

The View and location of this home were perfect.
But there were so many maintenance issues that it really cut into the enjoyment of our stay.
The wifi was down quite a bit, the security system didn't work, the ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms doesn't work, the side lamp in the bedroom doesn't work, some of the light switches in the house didn't work or are mislabelled, there are no clear instructions on how to operate the fireplace & the remote for it doesn't work, half the Jets in the hot tub weren't operable because the adjustment knobs are broken, the grill did not work even though there was a tank attached – we think the starter was broken, the dryer did not work.
And the number one issue was that the water was truly disgusting. The ice coming out of the ice maker was yellow/ brown and the water bowl I had filled up for my dogs looked like it had a layer of grease on top with things floating in it.
We had to go get jugs of water for us all to drink and for making coffee; and I certainly wouldn't shower in it. The toilets were terribly stained and looked disgusting as well.
We come to that area every year and I've never had this many problems with a place, especially not for the amount per night that we paid and the steep additional fees. And sure, most of these items are small but, compounded they do affect the overall enjoyment of a vacation. We work hard for our money and try to choose wisely where it is spent. We would not book this place again unless we were assured all the issues above were addressed - ESPECIALLY the water.
I'm hoping the owner wasn't aware of all of these issues and maybe now that they are, won't find it acceptable and will make a change.
