View Point Resort

We spend ten nights at view point resort (pool villa 2 ❤️) for our honeymoon and we had such a wonderfull time. Offcourse we spend a little more for this occasion but we got so much for the price. The breakfast delivered exactly on time each morning, the little courtyard with our little house and serperate bathroom (adventurous when U have to use the toilet and meet a crab friend!), the wonderfull pool that gets cleaned daily, the staff is suuuuuuper friendly and helpful. We loved every second of it.

What a fantastic place to stay beautiful gardens right on a beach to snorkel lovely fish. Amazing food and staff. Nice pool love the little kittens.

Slight smell near pool area drainage.

Garden view room was great, clean and spacious. The room isn’t sealed tight so mosquitoes might come in but there is a net over the bed. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast is nice and the pool area is lovely.

There are a lot of stairs so be prepared for that. The restaurant is a bit on the pricey side. The way to the resort is a bit steep so if you’re not comfortable on a bike take that into consideration.

- very nice pool villas (the rooms were just amazing) - exclusive, calm and quiet - very well equipped rooms (you got your own water cooker to make tea or coffee, a Bluetooth music box, free water exchanged daily, there's a Minibar with everything you need) - they clean your room/villa daily if you wish so (they come with a full armada of very polite cleaners) - staff is very very kind - possibility to let breakfast bring to your villa for free - small shop and motorbike rental nearby

- breakfast was underwhelming (we missed some proper western/European breakfast options, like proper Joghurt, proper cheese, more fruit options; it was more an American/Thai tailored breakfast, very sweet bread etc. Although there is a sourdough bakery in town) - dinner is underwhelming and waaaay to expensive, like ten times the normal price for a meal per person if you went to town; at the same time, the meals we ordered were already kind of cold and not prepared very well, overcooked fish, lacked taste, etc. - do not eat at the hotel, just go to the nearby town - since it's very far from anything (which has its benefits as well) you either always need a taxi or rent a motorbike to get anywhere (which is not really a big disadvantage from my pov)
