Our beautiful, cozy vacation rental home is nestled in the foothills of the Superstition Mountains in Gold Canyon, located 15 minutes, east of Apache Junction. Conveniently located minutes from Hwy 60, it’s an easy 30-minute commute to SkyHabor airport, or even closer to the regional Mesa/Gateway airport.
This beautiful 1700 square foot home offers privacy and a quiet setting for those seeking to relax in comfort. The immaculate interior was designed with your comfort in mind, and has three bedrooms; a large master bedroom, and two adjacent bedrooms, easily accommodating up to six guests. The master has its own large bathroom, and the second bathroom serves the other bedrooms. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you’ll need to prepare meals.
Enjoy the backyard, which is an awesome space, it has a heated pool, a nice pool deck to sunbathe, listen to music and/or read. In addition, to the pool we have added a brand new 4 person hot tub to soak and relax those stressed and tired muscles after a long day's hike. If you like to BBQ, there is a gas grill, and a little service bar on the covered patio, steps away from the pool.
The desert can get a little nippy at night, but with the 3 gas fire pits, you can stay nice and toasty outside, enjoy your favorite cocktail while star gazing at the desert night sky, and listen to the coyotes yipping!
If you want to venture out and explore the amenities in our neighborhood or want to meet people to socialize, visit the community center which has a large heated pool, and spa. It a great way to network. It's a short 2 block walk from our home.
Golfers, there are two must plays are located at the Gold Canyon Golf Resort, a public course, approximately 2 miles away. It is home to two championship 18-hole courses, the renowned Dinosaur Mountain course, and it companion course, Sidewinder. The resort has a restaurant, a bar, and dinner shows in season. Additionally ,there numerous other courses at various price points to suit any ability, or budget, located within minutes of our home.
In addition to golf, there are a ton of outdoor activities close by, including miles of hiking trails, ATV rentals, horseback riding, and there are two lakes close by in the mountains.
For you shoppers, you have your choice of shopping malls, department stores, boutiques within a 15-30-minute drive from the house.
Visit the local Swap Meet open on weekends with colorful vendors located right by HWY 60 and Signal Butte in Mesa.
Need a Latte or Frappuccino to start your day, there is a Starbucks located inside Bashas, a local grocery chain, a quick 10-minute walk, or 4-minute drive from the house. The shopping center is also home to several restaurants, such as De La Cruz Mexican Restaurant, a good local choice for Mexican food. On weekends, you can enjoy the live music, while dining outside on their awesome patio. Also, there are several small businesses, and for the ladies, you will find a hair and nail salon right next to Bashas.

This was our third time staying here. It never disappoints. The Jose is always clean. The accommodations are very comfortable. The heated pool is heaven! The host Aurora is always quick to respond. Highly recommend.

This home is exactly as described. The heated pool and hot tub were an added bonus for a January stay. We would stay here again. Aurora was fantastic to work with.

We enjoyed our stay, loved the pool in backyard, only thing we didn’t like was owners dropping in unexpectedly, once would have been enough, but at least 6 times, and opening garage door and leaving open, we paid plenty for this 2 week stay, they should give their guests privacy
