The property was very cute and comfortable - perfect for a night away. Even though the property was at the back of the house, it didn’t feel like it at all thanks to the hosts and location in the garden. They were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The hottub was definitely the highlight of the stay!

The only downside to the property is that it was quite small, although incredibly well thought out!

All facilities were good, we didn’t get to use the hot tub as it was freezing cold temperatures outside. Nice host and free parking.

Excellent relaxing stay ! 5*

Very quiet area, yes it does feel like you are in someone’s garden , but I can 100000% assure you you have so much privacy , no one is bothering you , it’s just you and nature! Hot tub was hot and well maintained, loved it, and loved little lights around the property once it’s dark! When we arrived , when I tell you we were nicely shocked, the host left 2 alcoholic drinks, chocolates , some fruits , cookies , in the fridge you can find HEAPS butter bocks , jam any kind , and they even leave you fresh milk! You will also get fizzy juices there ! Also plenty of chocolates with your TV! Speaking about TV, you can easily connect to whatever you like , but there’s also a DVD player with probably 10+ choices of movie CDs for everyone!

I wouldn’t say we didn’t like , it’s more maybe an opinion from what we thought , maybe a new bed or a mattress? We found it a little rough , but overall we had deep sleep! If you take pillows away it seemed a little not touched in a while regarding dust , but nothing major ! As I said it’s not that we didn’t like . But that’s just our opinion!

Excellent value for money in a cosy very clean pod and hot tub with extras!

We wish we could have stayed longer! Hot tub was extremely hot on the night we arrived so we had a quick dip and fully intended going back in. We did however get use of it on the morning we were leaving. The hot tub was excellent, so clean and all jets are powerful and exactly what you need to destress. We didn’t want to come out! The bed was extremely comfortable! I was worried as someone had said it wasn’t good in a previous review. It was so comfortable that once we’d unpacked we went for a ‘power nap’ We ended up sleeping through to 6 in the morning! We missed dinner and everything! Host had text to see if we needed the new heater they had bought. It was late November and they had the heating in pod to perfection. It was so warm and cosy! Host has taken on board all reviews on what people ‘didn’t like’ and has rectified all of them! They literally have things to a t! Loved the little cans of Irn Bru, tea, coffee, sugar and milk, along with some lovely biscuits and jam for your toast. What a lovely thought and very generous! The pod itself was extremely clean, the shower isn’t very powerful but it did the job. The hosts had also left hand wash and shampoo, they have really thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen had all you needed for an overnight stay, again, very clean. I will point out however, there is no oven. To be honest you don’t miss it with good quality hot plate, microwave, kettle and toaster but adjust your food shop with this in mind. I don’t want to say it was cheap, we’ll say inexpensive but you certainly get more than you pay for the pod, hot tub and overnight! Plus all the extras. Fantastic value for money! There’s also a very comfortable sofa and little table for your drinks. I was also worried as people had said they had a problem with tv and wifi. The tv worked perfectly and the wifi had a really strong connection. There are also dvds, again, they have thought of everything!

You do feel a little like you are on someone’s back garden to start with but you are given full privacy of the back garden pod and hot tub. All in all the positives override the negative reviews I have seen.

Hot tub break

The Hot tub was great, lovely watching the stars whilst in tub. The kitchen was well equipped and there was handy information on takeaways and local restaurants that guests can use. Can’t comment on the owners as didn’t see them.

The mattress was really hard and affected sleep, for this reason we won’t be returning which is a shame as everything else was fine.

Nice relaxing stay in peaceful area

The hot tub was lovely and comfy bed , parking was good and easy to find

The hot water from tap only ran for 30 seconds then went cold had to wait then start again to fill the sink , the photos showed as though complimentary Prosecco which there was not glad brought own better if left out photos as showed in all, wasn’t a lot of privacy as hot tub was so close to owners house and felt could been watched , some of the inside was tierd looking , curtain didn’t fit the door , milk in fridge left was not a sealed bought carton and when added to coffee had turned , small cost to put fresh milk in , self catering a oven would been good for pizza etc , again the description on site didn’t state what kitchen facilities there were

Modern and well appointed

Slight compressor or other mechanical noise all through the night (may be we should have turned the hot tub off). Not a real issue in the autumn but expect the single heater would struggle to warm the place in the winter.

Lovely well-appointed accommodation with a hot tub in a peaceful, tranquil setting.

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful location. Nice little touches. Hot tub was scrupulously clean and wonderfully warm and the host had put on outdoor lighting - lovely festoon lights around the garden and fairy lights in the tree. The location is tranquil and quiet, and it makes for a restful and peaceful stay. Host was non intrusive, only coming out to help with the hot tub lid, which I found too heavy to move by myself and helpfully told me to leave it when I had finished, but didn't disturb at all for the rest of my stay. Everything was well thought out and clear instructions and helpful information were left in a folder.

Loved everything, but a dining table would have been great. There is plenty room for a little one with a couple of chairs. It would have been a useful work-station too.

So peaceful and secluded. Hot tub and privacy was amazing for our wedding night after travelling up from Gretna Green.

Not enough room to park our camper van which is 7 meters long, but did speak to the host about this prior and they made us aware that we could park at the farm about 100 meters down the road.

Good overnight stay ...very well equipped...we didn't use the hot tub, but I imagine that could be a real attraction for some ..more a place for younger people I think..

Tiny bathroom, lacking at least a large coffee table, as nowhere to eat food inside..bed up against wall which is not very practical..really not ideal for older people

A lovely stay, friendly hosts and great hot tub!

Everything was great! Friendly communication from the staff on booking.com despite not physically meeting them in person. We noticed that they took in our swimwear to dry off which was very appreciated as we were flying home that day (we left them on the washing line, saw the fairies had taken them and in the morning saw they reappeared warm and dry ha!). The jam tarts they left were delicious and there was milk, fruit and sweet treats left on the table. They don't provide breakfast but when I asked if there was anywhere to get anything late at night, they were more than happy to grab some for us before we got there, so long as we requested this the day before. We didn't need this in the end but it was very appreciated to have the option. The hot tub and amenities were easy to use too and well looked after!

As the sink in the bathroom is small, water went out over when washing my face etc, so it would be good to have a shower mat just to go under there, to make sure the floor doesn't get wet! The mattress could be a bit thicker/softer but that's just my preference!

I would never recommend this accommodation to anyone!

The accommodation looks lovely by the photos but it really is disgusting inside, it is EXTREMELY dirty! The only plus point is the hot tub however around that is disgusting!

Everything! The WiFi didn’t work, the shower tray filled within 2 minutes which clearly means it was blocked, there is a do not use sign on the plug, there is books keeping the sofabed up, there was cobwebs in the corners, under the bed with DISGUSTING, the sofa bed has been cleared around it but not under it, the curtain pole will certainly fall down at some point due to the heaviness of the curtains and the bed feels like you are sleeping on wood. If my children were there I would have left straight away!

Hot tub is awesome! Comfy couch, good size garden. Host quick to reply. Clean! Smelled fresh. It is bigger than it looks on the photos, it is a good size. The information folder is a great touch.

TV is listed as streaming services, but it's not, it's a dvd player. WiFi didn't work(although host did try everything to resolve this). Bed too hard for our liking, left a day early due to this. Hot tub could be more private as it's literally beside hosts conservatory (maybe a privacy fence on that side?)
