All good stayapart from mums having a fall , pitty about front step too high and no handrail.

Location was perfect

My parents are older they had problems at the first steps at the lodge too high , My mother fell she misjudge the step and fell and brused her ribs , It seems like there is a step missing and there is no handrail to hold on to and the other side the wood handrail is very loose and ready to break.

Lovely cosy property for an Aviemore stay

The property is in a fantastic location a stone's throw away from Aviemore main street and with easy access to beautiful walks in the Cairngorms and Rothiemurchus forrest. We came by train but found it easy to get around or catch a bus for walks starting a little further in Glenmore. We had one day of bad weather but still had a nice day - the little cabin is very cosy, so if you're stuck in because of the rain you can still enjoy relaxing inside with a hot cup of tea and some board games!

I only wish I'd booked a couple more nights as it felt like we had to leave too soon!

Brilliant location close enough to walk to all the pubs restaurants and shops. Had a bit of trouble getting the keys but this was very quickly sorted via a message.

Great wooden cabin, very clean, key stored securely at the property, parking space, quiet location and very comfortable bed. Cabin has all the facilities you need. It's a 5min walk along a quiet path to town and very close to old Bridge pub

Location was perfect for exploring Aviemore by foot and the Cairngorms by car. We were lucky that the snow arrived when we arrived at the cabin.

Close to Aviemore and all amenities. Chalet was clean, comfortable beds snd had everything you would expect.

A little noisy with traffic. We were probably unlucky as a road sweeper came by early one of the mornings and somebody close by was getting some stones etc delivered.

Disgruntled from kent

Lovely setting.

Very dark in bathroom, only 1light and after complaining we were promised it would be fixed, it didn't. Standard of cleaning was very poor, heavy dust on curtains, broken chair outside, empty bottles left for us to get rid off. Owner lives in Spain, so not able to deal with issues.

Housekeeping instructions to be completed.. Never before had a request to strip the bed and do the hoovering before leaving. This I would do as a matter of choice.

Cosy & relaxing

Location only few mins walk to Aviemore Inn - highly recommended just through tunnel into holiday park and Old Bank Inn. 5 mins walk to town centre and train station. Very comfy beds, cosy cabin. Overall lovely cabin in brilliant location.

Could be done with s good clean. Before showering i had to clean shower especially shower head as it was black with mould, scared for legionnaires. Some cobwebs in livingroom and bedroom, looks as if they have been there a while. Had to wash all dishes, cutlery and glasses before use.
