Good location, only 20 walk to the Louvre, quiet street, but only five minutes walk to shops and dozens of restaurants and bars, but area still nice, quite and safe of a night. No noise from the street.

You need four codes to access the apartment, one for main door, one for building, one for the floor your apartment is on and then one for the apartment, bit of a pain, but wasn’t exactly a nightmare

WS Hotels was one of the hotels where I stayed during a previous trip to Paris, but this experience, both the hotel itself and what I went through afterwards, was the worst in terms of service and satisfaction I have ever experienced in any hotel, in my life or in the world.

I waited a long time before writing this review, but as someone who has traveled extensively abroad and was staying in Paris for the first time, I felt compelled to share this experience with you so you understand why you shouldn't stay at this hotel. On the day we arrived in Paris, while on our way from the airport to the hotel (we were almost there), I received a phone call informing me of a renovation issue and offering a 10% refund or alternative accommodation at another branch. When we offered to stay at another branch, they said there were no vacancies. Without hesitation, we agreed to stay at the hotel and take the 10% refund. Almost two months have passed since my trip to Paris, and despite contacting them repeatedly, sharing my bank details, and using the most polite language, no one has addressed the 10% refund issue. The funny part that prompted me to write this review is that, after all my messages and sharing my bank details hundreds of times, the 10% refund I received was a ridiculously small amount of 33 Euros because they processed it as "payment by the other party." I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. For months they put me in a difficult position with their offers, didn't make a single payment, and then, as if to mock me, sent a refund with ridiculously low amounts. I wouldn't recommend them because it's a chain hotel, and it's unacceptable for a chain hotel to behave so badly and organize such a situation so poorly. It was inadequate in every aspect; the room was too small to open two suitcases, the sheets were dirty and carelessly sloppy, and I still can't forget the foul smell emanating from the kitchen cabinets. It's a real tragedy for a hotel chain, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

We were advised of construction by the hotel a week before our stay therefore requested to change to another hotel in the group however weren’t advised there construction at the property right next door to our room. The walls are incredibly thin and very noisy from other floors and rooms on either side until very late hours in the morning.

Never again.

I've stayed at various of these apartments throughout Paris over the years. This will be the last time. A room full of mosquitos, construction work in the building, a broken commitment to offer another apartment and/or a partial refund. The customer service is appalling and the responses I got were shocking. To top it off, they are trying to say that I didn't even stay there - I assume to have this review deleted. Unfortunately I was there for 8 nights! If I could delete that, I would. It's cheap, sure, but they don't care.

4 different password to enter the apartment was very annoying. The place looks bigger in the pictures than it is. They don’t clean it even if the stay is long and they are asking extra 20£ if you want to opt in. Bathroom was literally tiny and the ventilation was not working

Nightmare

Location

We were rudely woken every morning by Jack hammering and banging on the wall from the adjoining apartment. The noise continued all day, and the whole apartment shook, with windows and doors rattling. We had to get up early and leave due to the noise. We contacted the provider to advise. About 10 emails have been sent but to no avail. They requested video proof, which I provided. I was advised by staff that they were waiting on the manager's response in regards to my complaint and request for a reimbursement. It's been nearly a month now, and I'm very annoyed that what was supposed to be a fantastic holiday turned into a nightmare.

Too small place for 3 people,codes didn’t work and it was dirty when we enter cause they said they forgot to clean ! Wow! We we’re exhausted from travelling and we waited somewhere tilt it’s 15:00 (check in time) and we couldn’t rest because it was dirty. All the dirty bedsheets ,towels etc and floors are wet . We called and cleaner came so we are waiting while he was cleaning. Disappointing 🫩🤦‍♀️ to compensate they gave us 12:00 to check out instead of 11:00 🕚

I appreciate that I was able to book this last minute when my other hotel cancelled. The unit was clean and there was an elevator!

The unit was extremely hot. The fan did not produce ANY breeze at all (almost as if it was going in the reverse direction). Also when you turned off the light in the hall part, the fan also went off.

Centrally located apartment

The location is fantastic really. Very central, easy to walk to all the important points, bars and restaurants close by, metro close by and very safe even at night time. The apartment does provide a kitchen, is nicely furnished and has a big window as well as good shower pressure. The 4 access codes situation is not as dire as some comments presented it to be, it is fairly easy to execute. There is a very small lift available in the building. The bed is okay.

The cleanliness of the apartment i felt could have been improved, especially the floor as well as the bed sheets in general. The fan only seemed to be working if the lights were on so that forced us to sleep with the window open throughout the night which was very very very loud not only because of the bar downstairs but also because of the various garbage collection, traffic activities etc.

Great area, mini but well equipped apartment

Fantastic area - charming, quiet, great bars and restaurants, close to the Metro. Apartment was small (as described!) but well equipped and very clean.

Without air conditioning, the small bathroom would steam up very easily after a quick shower and stay quite damp. Providing coffee pods would be a nice touch! Couldn’t get an answer about how to use the safe unfortunately.

The view

CONFIRMED checkout time of 14:00-15:00 which was organised months in advance. This morning the cleaner WALKED IN our room while we were in bed at 10:15am when initial check out is supposed to be 11:00am. I got told i needed to leave as there was another person due to stay in our room that same day. Why confirm a late check out when you cannot accommodate it? I was then told they would help me out storing my luggage for the day but i would have to pay the funds for it. This place is entirely in the wrong and house cleaned was VERY rude. Unfortunately got kicked out hours before our check out time. This is the second stay i’ve had at this apartment, i thought i would continue staying when im back in Paris… NEVER AGAIN. Do not waste your time, disgraceful!!

only thing I can say good about the property is the location, which was near the opera building.

The checkin time was too late, they said we can have the room at 1 pm but when we went to the room around 1 pm, it was still not cleaned. So we had to wait until 3 pm and all of our plans were ruined because of that. When we picked up the room at 3 pm, there was a weird smell which wasnt smelling any clean. The bed is not comfortable at all and the pillows were like sheet of paper, they were that thin. We had neck pain all the nights we stayed in and couldnt sleep properly because of that. Addition to my review--- Property called me recently, they saw my bad review and they wanted me to delete my comment and if I do that they said they are offering 130 Euros as a compensation. I did it and deleted my bad review. Clearly, they are not only awful place to stay in but also they are liar, they are trying to scam people with pretending to offer a money. they should be banned from booking.com as I cannot believe booking.com is allowing these properties to be on this site and still people are paying for this crap place!!! do me a favor and if you see this place dont you ever reserve it for your holiday!!!!

Room and location were ideal for what we were wanting to do in Paris.

We sent requests for the linen in the room to be changed as it was extremely hot and after 2/3 nights the linen really could have done with a change, however, despite having "paid" for this service it was NOT done. This was rather a downer to the accommodation.

The location of the property is really good.

No A/C, it was super hot, and you cannot open the windows as neighbours are nosy and smoked, so when you open the windows tobacco smoke got in. Also, there are a lot of mosquitoes so if you open the window you will get bitten. There was one fan for the whole apartment but it was super dirty and it smelled if you turn it on. There is room for literally 2 small bottles or cans in the freezer, and the kitchen is unusable.

Paris was wonderful. The apartment was a big disappointment.

the location was good, close to metros, shops and restaurants. it was also very clean. the beds were comfortable.

The apartment was minimal—small, sparsely furnished. The kitchen are was tiny. it had an electric teakettle and coffee maker but no outlet in the kitchen for plugging them in. the coffee maker used coffee pods, but there were none provided, and no way of knowing what type to buy at a grocery store. All of the above was tolerable, HOWEVER, for five of the six days we were there there was a terrible sewage smell in the bathroom that was coming up from the shower drain. it made using that room almost intolerable. The problem wasn’t fixed until the day before we left. The management did not respond to my first communications, and eventually I received apologies. I did ask for a partial refund, but fell that the €200 was paltry given how unpleasant the sewage smell was.
