Lady of the Lake

Hôte très réactive, disponible et à l'écoute. Logement très bien situé et fonctionnel pour passer un agréable séjour dans un petit village clame. Une fois arrivé au village tout est accessible à pieds (commerces, restaurants, moyens de transports en bus/bateau/funiculaire/sentiers de randonnée) pour visiter le lac de Côme sans prendre la voiture.

Le lac de Côme attire du monde donc arrivé au village, petit conseil laisser sa voiture garée et circuler en empruntant les transports en commun car durant la saison estivale de nombreux touristes utilisent leur voiture donc que ce soit à Côme ou d'autres villes autour du lac cela évite de tourner pour trouver une place 🙂

Good location: close to local bar, bus stop, boat stop, small grocery store. Argegno is a very nice small town with good access to the rest of lake como. Nicely furnished and well equipped. Easy check-in.

No real blankets provided, only sheets. When it is too cold during the night, you have to use extra blankets which look really old, have holes in them and are very dirty with crumbs and hair falling out when you shake them out. This could be easily solved by just providing actual blankets with washable covers. The apartment in general didn’t get deep-cleaned, only “on the surface”: we found someone else’s hair on the shower walls and floor for example. This took away a lot of the really nice atmosphere the apartment gives.

TV broken and sockets in kitchen not working so unable to use any of these amenities. Asked for help with how to get these working and the hosts were unkind, unprofessional and unhelpful in their response. Basic things like enough toilet paper to last past the 2nd day of our 5 day stay were not provided. Couch (the second bed) was dirty and covered in pet hair. Bedding smelt and had not been washed following a previous stay despite clear evidence of pet hair and pets using it. All easily fixable things but these hosts are not interested in assisting travellers during their stay.
