A Delightful Condo Situated In Ventura Golf & Country Club

Con: The absolute worst part about our trip was getting past the security gate. Security guard didn't have our names and that means you can't come in. We got to the gate at 10:10pm and didn't get past it until 11:30pm. It took less time to fly from Atlanta to Orlando than it took to go about 20 feet at Ventura. The host did his part by giving our names to the Ventura CC admin but Rebecca, the Ventura admin, didn't follow through and give our names to the security guard. We paid the high price and still suffer from that traumatic experience. It's etched into our brains and shared with several people already. Although I might rent from this host at another place, we will NEVER even consider staying at Ventura Country Club again. Pro:Reasonable accommodations for the price we paid. Yes, the furnishings are somewhat outdated and could use some TLC. But, everything worked: A/C, internet, kitchen appliances, and plumbing. (I didn't try any of the TVs)Really good water pressure. The bed was so soft and comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed.We loved sitting on the big balcony throughout the day and we also enjoyed the pool at Willowpointe.

Close to the airport, this condo provides exactly what you need and then some. The photos are true to the place. It was quiet and could probably house 4 comfortably. There are fans throughout the rental, but a few lack chains to adequately adjust speed. The Wi-Fi worked great. The couches were comfortable. Honestly would stay here again.

Location was perfect for our reunion (would have been ok but not great if we were going to Disney). The price was remarkably low. Very easy to get in and out of the complex. As for the property, well, did I mention the location and price were great? I did not expect excellent condition at that price, but it was more rundown than I anticipated. Furniture was quite old, half the lightbulbs didn’t work, bedroom TV didn’t work. The place needs a guest guide. Had to figure out for myself that the white card with the pool pass would get me into the fitness center. The TV was not intuitive at all. Nothing was said about having an assigned parking spot, and the guard told me I could park wherever but a neighbor informed me I was in the wrong spot… Bottom line is if low price is your top priority this is an adequate place to stay. But it could be exceptional, and I would gladly pay more, if it were given a good thorough clean up and refurbishment.
