Location and building were great.
Price of a beer was expensive.

The beds were comfortable, and the shared bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. The communal spaces were inviting and made it easy to connect with others—I met some truly wonderful people who made my time there feel special. The food was great, and the location was ideal: within walking distance to town and with beautiful sea views.
Unfortunately, my experience was significantly impacted by the way I was treated by some members of staff, which left me feeling unwelcome and unfairly singled out. My trip was spontaneous due to a last-minute change in plans, so I booked a room-only stay on a nightly basis, unlike most other guests who had pre-booked packages. From the outset, things felt off. I arrived around 6 PM and mentioned I was looking forward to using the pool the next day. I was abruptly told I couldn’t, as check-out was at 11 AM. I found this strange, given I had paid for a night’s stay but was being denied access to the facilities. Needing rest, I inquired about extending my stay. I was told the rate had jumped to €150 per night—over triple the standard rate of €45, despite the dorms being mostly empty. It was out of my budget, so I decided to check out the next morning. When I asked to leave my suitcase for a short while so I could grab lunch in town with friends, I was told no—I had to leave the premises entirely. I ended up putting my suitcase in a friend’s car. I wasn’t even allowed to book a massage at the hostel that day because I was checking out, which seemed counterintuitive—surely additional bookings would be welcomed. At lunch, a friend told me they had extended their stay for €45 per night, without a package. I felt embarrassed and confused. Several of my friends noticed the inconsistency and spoke to the staff on my behalf. They were told there was “nothing they could do” about the rates—even though they had helped another guest via WhatsApp just days before. Eventually, I managed to find a deal online and rebooked for two nights at €70. Even after returning, the unfairness continued. One morning, my friend and I ordered breakfast together and placed the order at the same time—he was charged €17, I was charged €20. On our final day, the same friend was allowed to relax by the pool until heading to the airport after checkout, even though I had previously been told I couldn’t

The location is great and the hostel is beautiful, clean, and aesthetically well-designed. The staff was kind and helpful, and everything was nicely organized, which made the stay comfortable.
However, I felt the place lacked heart. Everything seemed focused on making money rather than creating a real space for connection. Yoga classes, breakfast, and even towels came with extra charges. Many guests didn’t take towels, so the bathrooms were often wet and uncomfortable. In 20 hours that I was there the bathroom was always wet and everyone step on that and it became a mess in the bathroom and room. Overall, the place felt a bit superficial, and I was hoping for something more genuine and soulful.

The place is very nice. A lot of common areas: cinema, pool, terraces, fireplace.
I forgot why I don't like hostels. Nothing included. You have to pay even for a towel. But this is in all hostels. What was wrong here: I told the guy I'm going to check out before 8 am. He told me I have to leave the towel and the key on the reception desk. I did it next morning. Then he texted me and ask to come and bring another towel... I was in hundred kilometers away already.
