Magnetic Effect

The house has a great deck and the beds are very comfortable. It’s in a nice spot, with lots of birds.

This house is quite run down and most of the light bulbs are super harsh so it doesn’t feel cozy. The driveway has a sharp curb and tore our car’s bumper off even though we went very slowly.

Nice cosy house that suited our group. We had a koala come right up to the trees in front of the back verandah. Good size kitchen. Staff at reception were very helpful.

I assumed it would be like an Airbnb with a few basics in the kitchen, but there were none.. no salt pepper, sauces, oils, etc. There is a small shop nearby but both that shop and the IGA are very expensive. There's also a decent hill to get anywhere, so we ended up hiring a car for a couple of days Some of the fittings in the bathroom could do with some attention, but it was all functional.

The house was comfortable and cool with the air con. and fans on when we arrived, and linen and towels provided. Nice and quiet cul-de-sac, and only a short walk to the beach & pub. Nice open plan and living space.

The main problem was a Lack of mobile phone service/ internet reception intermittent. No potato masher in kitchen. Pegs on clothes line were few, and weathered and brittle. The house isn't as open and bright as in the picture now due to overgrown vegetation, with swarms of mossies when we tried to sit outside on the deck. The bbq wasn't used as their was no flat plate/s and too small. Clocks need new batteries. Half of the Outdoor lights need bulbs or repairs (some were full of water on the deck).
