Excellent hotel/restautant in a beautiful area for hiking and cycling.

Super friendly staff, very helpful, and extremely kind. Clean and comfortable hotel, very elegant details and a lovely restaurant downstairs (with views over the river). I had to pick up my husband in the middle of the night, and our wonderful host Lucrèce left the gates open so I could get back into the parking lot safely. I didn't even ask for it, so very kind and thoughtful, as if you are a guest in their home. The room was clean and comfortable, and the restaurant was wonderful. Excellent meat dishes (though salmon is also superb!).

Great for 100 per night.... Painful for 175 per night

In general all okay Just price and what you get don't match

Room was not heated so it took time to get the room to a pleasant temperature. Bathroom super small and prefab shower. Good but it's still a cabin. Breakfast... We had to ask for fried eggs, for me it should all be in the extra what justifies 175 euro per night

Great stay for one night with good food in a very pretty rural setting.

This is a lovely small hotel in a super location on the river Scheldt with nice walking nearby. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and the staff were all very helpful.

We were not so keen on having the bathroom separated from the bedroom only by a wooden screen, I like my privacy when on the loo!

Heerlijk

De locatie is prachtig, de hosts supervriendelijk, het restaurant heel goed (wel voornamelijk rundvlees in alle soorten maar dat geeft de naam al een beetje aan).

Ik zou aanraden om niet voor de zolderkamer te gaan als je wilt douchen. Er is alleen een bad wat prima is als je dat graag gebruikt maar het gebruik van de douchekop zorgt voor een hele natte kamer.

Prachtig maar prijzig

Een prachtig, sfeervol middeleeuws pand waar tal van originele details nog steeds zichtbaar zijn. Zelfs aan de kleinste details is aandacht besteed, waardoor het een feest voor het oog is geworden. Mooie kamers. Een minpunt is wel dat de badkamer geïntegreerd is in de woonkamer. Er is geen enkele afscherming en dat is niet heel prettig. Bediening zeer vriendelijk. Je moet echter wel een goed gevulde portemonnee meenemen..... Het culinaire aspect is basic, maar kwalitatief zeer goed. No nonsense, gewoon eerlijke producten met een geweldige bite. Verwacht geen overdadige menu´s....

Het ontbreken van afdoende afscheiding van het sanitair van de kamer. Zou eenvoudig te realiseren moeten zijn en zorgt voor veel meer privacy. Mijn toiletbezoek houd ik graag privé, zelfs na 41 jaar huwelijk.

Prachtige locatie, zeer mooi hotel en kamers. Een warm ontvangst van de gastvrouw. Een lekker ontbijt met ruime keuze. Het restaurant is zeker ook een aanrader. Het is iets duurder dan de meeste maar zeker de moeite waard. We hebben zeer lekker gegeten daar. Zeker een aanrader dit hotel/restaurant

nett für einen kurzen Trip

Nett und individuell ausgestattetes Gasthaus direkt an der Schelde. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Inhaber, sehr gutes Essen.

„Deluxe“-Zimmer im Dachgeschoss hat nur Dachfenster, aus denen man nicht in die Landschaft schauen kann. Zum Bad – einschließlich Toilette – gibt es keine Tür, so dass die Toilette, den Blick über das ganze Zimmer freigibt und umgekehrt. Eine separate Toilette sollte Standard sein.
