Really beautifull, peacefull, clean stay

It’s really peacefull and quite. The views were beautifull and the accomodation too! What I also really liked is that we were in a small town but with a 10 minute walk you had multiple great restaurants!

The worst accommodation experience ever

good house, fireplace, grill, and Nordic bath

A few days before check-in, the property owners sent a message requesting a deposit to be transferred to their personal account, without any confirmation from booking.com. Transferring this deposit turned out to be a mistake. Upon arrival, it became clear that the house is located in the owners' backyard, and they can enter the rented house without any notice, and they constantly walk around the property in front of our windows throughout the day. On booking.com, it's indicated that parking is free and there's a charger for electric cars. There was no information about the charger being paid for in the description. However, upon arrival, it turned out there was a separate fee for it. They told us it would cost 2 euros, but in reality, they deducted 35 euros from the deposit, only able to justify 19.59 euros of that amount. There's also an additional 10 euro fee for using the fireplace, which isn't mentioned in the booking.com description, even though the fireplace is listed as an activity. Moreover, for a five-day stay for three people, they provide only one roll of toilet paper, five coffee sachets, one tea, one dishwasher tablet, and firewood for the Nordic Bath for just two uses. The hosts also provide only one towel per person, which starts to smell after two uses. Towels or robes for the Nordic Bath are not provided, which they proudly mention, stating it was in the description, although I couldn't find this information on booking.com. Hand towels are also not provided. In conclusion, despite a good house, fireplace, grill, and Nordic bath, this was the worst out of nearly 200 accommodations we've had worldwide. The appalling attitude towards guests and unjustified withholding of deposit funds spoiled everything. I should note that the deposit is supposed to be returned within 7 days, which is already quite long, but in our case, the refund took 8 days.

Great place to stay if you need a nice and quiet place. The house is decorated with an idea, everyone will find a place for themselves. Perfect garden to take a rest and to play with childrens.

Perfect stay

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were super friendly and the house was very clean. Everything that is necessary for a good holiday was there. Also the environment is wonderful for hiking and Luik is by train (or car) approximately 30 minutes away. We enjoyed the peace and had a wonderful stay.

Perfect weekend

We liked everything. The property is well located, in the middle of the nature, and easy to access. The house is charming, very modern, comfortable and well equipped. The owners are lovely people, welcoming, nice and helpful.

Envie de prolonger le séjour dans ce havre de paix!

Séjour absolument parfait ! Le bain nordique et le feu à pellets sont de véritables atouts, surtout en arrivant avec le poêle déjà allumé par le propriétaire : une attention vraiment très appréciée. Le logement est extrêmement bien pensé et parfaitement agencé. La salle de bain et la cuisine sont très fonctionnelles, avec des matériaux de grande qualité, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. Le propriétaire est d’une disponibilité exemplaire : il a immédiatement répondu à notre demande de rallonge pour pouvoir faire une raclette. Enfin, l’emplacement est idéal pour profiter de superbes balades au départ direct du logement. Nous en avons profité le jour de notre départ et c’était un vrai bonheur. Un week-end au top, nous recommandons ce logement les yeux fermés !

Un endroit au calme, propre, nous avions notre intimité. Quelque jour avant j'ai reçu un mail avec les explications de ou je pouvais me garer… , et sur place un livret pour nous expliquer le fonctionnement du gite. je recommande l'endroit et je reviendrais

Heel propere locatie. Super vriendelijke mevrouw die ons ontving in haar huisje! Hot tub was super. Aywaille is ook zeker aan te raden! Top locatie!

Goede info en goede staat van het huisje

De betonnen vloer was wel heel koud aan de voeten. Jammer dat de inloopdouche niet gelijk is met de vloer waardoor er water uit kan vloeien.

Heerlijk in de hottub met uitzicht en daarna lekker onder de warme deken.

Zeer mooi appartement, erg proper en modern. Leuke pallatkachel om lekker warm te maken en prachtige hottub. Heerlijk van genoten. Het paadje naar appartement is wel smal voor de auto. Prima verblijf gehad.

Voor kinderen zijn er een aantal gevaarlijke plekken. Zoals de balustrade langs het net, die is erg laag. Het net is leuk om op te spelen, maar door de lage balustrade gevaarlijk. Daarnaast lijkt het of de bovenste trede van de trap ontbreekt (er zit een opening, het lijkt een design fout) dit is ook met kinderen gevaarlijk. Ik hoop dat de accommodatie dit oplost, niet erg ingewikkeld. Verder een erg mooie en fijne plek.

Noorse bad was top! Hosts waren ook hele leuke lieve mensen.

Er lagen niet genoeg lucifers om het vuurtje voor een tweede keer aan te zetten.
